The car ride was silent , both of them were silent . As Marco drove as quickly as he could to Vanessas house , his mind was wondering so much about what he had just seen . Those words , those damn words wouldn't leave his mind .
" I needed a real man..."
After everything he did for her ? All she could do in return by breaking up with him ? It wasn't just that , he risked his job at some point to help her reach her goal ? Was that not man enough ?
He still couldn't believe she said that but decided to forget about it , if her words weren't gonna affect him for the next 5 years , he wasn't gonna spend more that 5 minutes caring about it .
As his mind flooded with all these thoughts he forgot that Vanessa was in the car with him until he spoke .
" I'm sorry for bothering you..." she stated , sounding very concerned .
" oh no you weren't bothering me !" He repiled quickly as he felt guilty about making her feel that way .
" ok then..." she said just as he stopped at her house . She got out of the car and so did he . He walked her to her porch making sure she got home safely .
"Thank you..." she said softly as they both stood at her doorstep silently looking at each other .
" your very welcome Vanessa." He said with a smile .
"I must repay you somehow , how about dinner at my place next week ?"
" oh no I can't !" He said feeling bad that he was invading her privacy.
" oh no , I wanna repay you for being such a gentleman to me and taking me home . That was very sweet of you..." she said reaching out her hand to touch his arm . He didn't know what to say . So he simply smiled at her .
" I'd like that very much." He repiled causing her to smile . He didn't realize it and near did she but they were slowly leaning into each other. Once he realized it , his mind really took off and started asking him a million questions .

Yes. Maybe he was talking things to fast but he generally didn't care anymore . If Star wasn't seeing the man he was , she didn't deserve for him to prove it to her either .

Right now , all he could see what that star was in the past , Vanessa was in his future so she deserved to see the man she needed .

As their mouths danced ,dancing for dominance his hands were all over her body as they both let out small moans of pleasure.

This was it . There was no holding back now , he knew from the start that this wasn't just a simple hook up situation. There were feelings involved. Even if he only knew his feelings for her , he still wasn't sure about her .

She had a plan in mind .
Kissing him made her feel disgusting and there was nothing there but by doing this could help fix everything .

After leaving Jacob , she went back home and took a long shower , making sure to wash every part of her that he touched , she felt dirty , even though she wasn't actually dirty , she felt disgusting .

After getting out of the shower she knew everything she had to do to fix this whole mess she had created . As much as she didn't want to say any of those words about Marco , she knew she had to say it so she could fix it .

With Jacob , as much as she didn't want to be . She knew that doing this could get him fired and hopefully she could make things right again with Marco .

The brunette stepped back into his car , forgetting about the whole incident with Star earlier . He smiled as for what felt like forever , he was happy .
