Chapter :7

Before I begin I just want to tell you guys not to worry starco is coming soon (now )so don't leave this book yet . I promise some good stuff are gonna happens , just you wait .

Time skip to another day :
for the first time Star was asked to go to a meeting with some fellow co-workers and her boss . This was a huge honor for her because she rarely ever got these opportunities so of course she was excited .
Everyone sat down at the long table waiting for the other people to come .
When they came they meant business. They placed a piece of paper infornt of stars boss .
" this is the agreement . If you sign this paper we get 20% of your profits you make and in return your company will be advertised by our company globally." He slides the papers towards stars boss and he read the paper . He then slid it over to the person next and so on around the table . When it got to star she read it but saw the fine print . This was a scam , they lied it wasn't 20% of free company's profit they get , they get more than 80% of the profit.
" so do we have an agreement?" The man asked
" ye-"
" wait-" Star stopped her boss . The whole room looked at her , her co-workers confused and the man with anger in his eyes .
" sir could we speak outside ?" Star asked her boss .
" what is it ?"
" sir this is a scam , at the end of the paper In fine print they wrote they would take more than 80% of the company's profit not 20% ."
" I didn't see it , maybe your seeing things ."
" no sir , you need to look at the fine print , if we agree to this then we'll loose a lot of money ."
" Star I think your seeing things , this is why I don't ask you to come to meetings with me ." He boss said .
That hurt star . She was right , she knew she was . She wasn't careless like them . She knew what she was talking about . When no one believes you it can definitely break down a piece of you .
Her boss headed back into the office to sign the papers while Star left angrily.
She headed back home. She wasn't going to let this happen . She needed prof .

Marcos POV :
I was at the office while the meeting was ongoing on the other side of the building . At some point I went to go to the break room but stopped when I heard voices on my way there .
I looked around the corner to see star and her boss talking .
" sir this is a scam, at the end of the paper in fine print they wrote they would take more than 80% of the company's profit, not 20%"
"I didn't see it , maybe your seeing things."
" no sir , you need to look at the fine print , if we agree to this then we'll loose a lot of money ."
" Star your seeing things . This is why I don't ask you to come to meetings with me"

I watched as I saw star being treated horribly... she had a point and her boss is so careless not to even think about reading the fine print that in the end could put the company in Debt .
Was so he so careless and how could he say that when Star is looking out for his hip poor decision making .
I was thinking as she walked out of the office and if I had to guess ,home .  To say I felt bad for her was an understatement. I know how hard it is for women to be very involved in this industry but I didn't think it would be this bad .

Time skip :
Star was very invested into getting proof that she was right but she needed a way to back up her . So she did some research. Turns out a party for the 12th anniversary of their company was tonight at their office . If I could somehow sneak into the building and get into the office to get those agreement paper I could prove Im right . I know it's risky but I'm willing to do anything for this .

Stars POV :
The next day I heard a knock at my door and Marco enters my office .

" how can I help you ?" Star asks
" I can help you ." Marco says mysteriously .
" what ?" A confused star said raising an eyebrow.
" I heard what happened yesterday and I know what your up too ."
" what ?"
" I know that your gonna go to their office tonight and steal the papers to stop the agreement."
" how did you find-"
" you had your laptop open when I went to drop off some papers and I saw your google search ."
" Marco I- this is private things you- have no right to look at my business."
"I know but it didn't make much sense as you had your laptop open to the world."
Star groaned in anger .
" look I overheard what happened yesterday and I know how hard it is for you in this business. That's why your doing this right ?"
" yes."
" then let me help you."
" I can't trust you."
" why not ? You know if you enter the building and they see your face , they'll know exactly why your there and probably snitch on you . You could loose your job. I'll go for you , they don't know me so I could easily enter the building pretending to be one of them and leave with the agreement paper ."
This was not something Star had thought of . And he had a good point . But what about him ? If they find his identity they could arrest him and he could loose his job ?
" Marco you do know everything your putting at risk ?"
" I know, but I want to do it."
Never in stars life did she think someone would do something for her with so much on the line , his job , his reputation and he could even go to jail .
Star agreed with a smile .

Time skip :
Star and Marco stood outside of the other companies building . Marco had on a nice suit on to help him camouflage in with the crowd . Star was in normal cloths .
" ugh , why won't this tie tie normally !!!" Marco complained
" here let me help ." Star said as she got begun tieing his tie . Marco looks down at her . She was inch's away from his face . Her warm breath on his chest made him shiver . She looked so beautiful from his view of her . Who though . At some point she looked up at him with a smile .
" there ." And took a step back . Marco got out of his trance and focused on the real reason they were here .
"Ok so you go in , get the papers and get out , got it ?"
" yes ." And with that Marco went inside .
Star couldn't help but feel nervous for him as she saw him enter the building .
" you got this Marco..." she said under her breathe .

Back to marco :
I entered the building and so far it was easy getting in . I blended in perfectly with the crowd of people their .
I know I had to do it fast before someone realized I wasn't meant to be here .
I headed for the long hallways where I thought my best bet would be that the papers were .
" hey !!!" A loud voice would be heard a distance away from Marcos back .
Marco turned around to see a security guard at the other end of the hallway .
" where are you going?"
" to the bathroom..." Marco answered
" oh ok , go along ."
Marco looked around the office area and after a while he found the bosses office .
Dumb idiot , the door wasn't even locked . Marco entered very cautiously and turned on the light . It wasn't a big office and not a lot of things were in it . Marco checked all the drawers and until he found it .
" Ahah !!!"
He put the papers in his jacket and casually pretended to have never been there .
When he was a reach away from the front door for his final escape the security guard stopped him .
" HEY YOU !!! YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE !!!" and with a quick sprint towards the exit Marco made it . He ran for only a couple steps only to be bumped by someone and both of them rolling down and into the bushs that were near by the door .
Marco felt the weight of someone on top of him and when he opened his eyes Star was on top of him . Their faces were inches apart . Their bodies were very close to each other . They stare at each other for a couple seconds before they hear the noises go the security guards coming . Star put a finger to her lips signaling to be quite and that's what they did . The lights shined over them so Star got closer to marco to stay lower . The lights shined right above them and then they were gone . Voice could still be heard looking for them . Star and Marco were practically breathing the same air in the same space and could feel each other's panting and heartbeat . There they were , so close to each other , on top of each other with no space inbetween them .
When they heard no more noises they thought it was safe to come out .
When they got up and out of the bushes they sprinted for the car .
They hopped in and Marco drove off .
" wow , that was close ." Star said still panting .
" I know right , good thing they didn't catch me ." Both of them were obviously not speaking of the incident that just happened because it was weird for them .
The drive back home was silent but Star felt she needed to thank him .
" umm.., Marco ."
" yeah ?"
" I just wanted to say thank you, for everything . Not everyone is willing to help someone and give up so much at the same time and for that I'm really thankful......"
Marco smiled as this is the first time Star had actually been nice to him since he worked there and it felt good hearing it come from her .
"No problem." He repiled while shooting her a smile.
" can I ask you something Marco ?" She asked
" yeah , sure ?"
" why did you help me ?"
"I saw what you've been through over the last couple months and to be honest I really do feel bad for you . You work harder than anyone in the complaint and have yet gotten a promotion. You have to deal with the daily flirting of your annoying boss and still go home and tell yourself everything is fine... Star I can't help but come to help you."
Marco was being honest about it and for the first time in years Star and Marco were having an honest conversation . It felt really good for both of them to say what they felt needed to be said because well it's difficult to find someone who will listen and actually understand .
