The car door swung open and out came an angry man . The taps of this shoes hitting againist the pavement sent shivers down the spine of the employees inside . Everyone made way for the man , no one dared getting in his way before making his mood that was already bad , worse .

He headed for the front desk , his eyes on the lady sitting behind the counter . His hands slammed the desk counter causing the lady to take out her headphones and actually pay attention to the costumers at her job .
"How can I help you sir ?" She asked with a sigh , obviously she was in no mood to do her job today or ever .
" I want to speak to the manager"

Stars POV :
My co-worker at the front desk came in my office , I never saw her ever come in . She was my laziest worker so it surprised me she came in here . Her expression however scared me . It was as if she had seen a ghost and in a company that we work at , it normally meant annoying costumers , like the Karen's .

" Mr.Vicson is here , miss." She told me . Her voice shaking with every word . My heart almost dropped hearing her say that . I looked down at my coffee cup and the vibrations of his loud footsteps made everything within this room shake .

I looked behind my assistant and there I saw his face , so recognizeable that it brought back the terrible memories from before. He was my old boss (editors note : Mr.Vicson is the name of stars boss from before)

He steps into my office , barely fitting through the door frame and walks over to me with a smile that ate me at my core . " Thank you violet , you may now leave ." I tell my assistant. She leaves the room and a cold vibe enters the room , as if it was going to get ugly .

" what do you want ?" I ask him , wanting him to leave as soon as possible . " I just wanna talk ." He said with a smirk that almost makes me vomit . " Why are you here ? Aren't you supposed to be fired ?"

His smile grew wider and it meant nothing but bad luck . " actually , I'm here to get my son a job here , Jacob." He says as he son steps aside and his son is in view . Jacob was a fairly attractive young man but seeing the family he comes from , it probably meant nothing good .

Jacob stepped forward and offered me a handshake . " sorry ,I don't your diseases ." I said as I flap his hand away like a fly . He chuckled at my remark and I could only give him a look of disgust ."aren't you a tough one ?" He asked . " I'm not tough , I just don't like you "I repiled .

" remind me again , why are you here ?" I asked making sure I say it in a rash tone , looking at Mr.vicson .
" why so mean Miss. Butterfly ? I just came here to help my son learn the management ropes on his first day here ." He said with a huge grin .

My eyes go wide . "Management ?" I ask , stuttering with every syllable.
"Yes , for a few months now I've been working with the company who's working with your company to get me a job at management there , now they've transferred me here to work as co-manager with you ." Jacob said with a smile that could make me want to punch him , the words he spoke made my knees go weak and my heart beat faster . I had no words and Mr.Vicson would see it .

" why so quite all of a sudden Star ?" He said . " the last couple of months while you been living the dream managing this company , Jacob and I have been hard at work . And in the end it's gonna pay off because we get to see you suffer , well , that is , you and your boyfriend ,Marco ." He said with a smile .
I was never speechless but right now , I had no words .
" why so silent all of a sudden ?" Jacob asked .

Flashback:
Towards the end of the wedding , just before the couple was about to cut the cake , some people made a toast . It was traditional to do so and everyone sat still to listen to the kind words of family and friends .

As if the wedding couldn't be any more worse for Star and Marco . They didn't know that their was an even worse surprise coming . While everyone sat down and listened to the toast , a brunken alex stepped to the stage and spoke loud words about the wed couple and then the truth almost slipped out .

Jacob was invites to the wedding and worked his hardest not to be seen by star or Marco . He's been spying on them the whole night and as it was coming to an end he was losing hope he may get evidence of any sort to ruin stars work life for his father .

His eyes golted open when he Heard Alex's words . They weren't clear and almost no one could hear them but Jacob . His eyes followed as Star as she rushed alex off the stage and Marco tried making jokes with the now confused crowd . Alex got out of his set and head backstage to overhear the whole conversation alex had with Star .

END OF FLASHBACK .

" now we have video evidence , what you gonna do now ?" Jacob said with a smirk . Star knew damn right this was blackmail and the fire she had been holding inside was about to explode .she stood up making a more confident person .
" how dare y-" she was cut off once again .
" not so fast Star , be nice to us cause remember , we could ruin your career ."
They stepped aside to show Star marco , who was talking and laughing with this other co-workers . He looked so happy and stars eyes felt sorrow looking at him .
"— and also your sweet Marco . Take that into consideration." Mr Vicson spoke . He leaned in close to the desk and whispered into her ear .
" I'm coming back for my job Star..."
