CHAPTER 13

I am in good mood today ... Actually this whole week was great ... Yeah it's been a week since I had that conversation with Ani ... It was highlight of my week ... I am happy , smiling like a mad girl whenever that day comes to my mind  ...

Today was little hectic day for me as I had to go to medicine department regarding one of my patient... As always the great khadoos sir of medicine was there ... I told him everything about patients and was asking for his opinion ... 
But as expected he scolded me and shouted too for not being precise about the case history ...

But then Arjun came and said " Sir, Manik sir is asking for you as he wants to discuss about new patient's treatment "

Thank god ... Arjun came right on time and sir went away saying " Dr. Arjun, this is JR from pediatrics ...she wants some help regarding this patients , so help her and ask me if you have any questions, okay ?" Handing the file to Arjun .

"Okay sir ,I will "

"You are a true life saver , Arjun ... Really ..  I thought he was going to kill me today with humiliation and loud voice ...I mean how can you handle him "

" Oh you are welcome , Dr. Ananya ... Happy to help ... But he is not that bad ... There is alot to learn from him ... And ofcourse as I am so smart and calm and handsome , I can handle him well "

" Ofcourse you can " I said rolling my eyes .

" But , I really need your help regarding this patient ... So should we get started ?"

" Yeah , let's go to canteen.... We will discuss there ..."

"But it's not lunch time yet? "

"Oh we can go ... We will have lunch too.. besides you own me a treat for saving you from Dr. Khadoos,right? "
He said pulling me towards exit of department .

So that's it ... then we did our discussion ... Had lunch too... To think of it Arjun is very smart when it comes to work ...he was so focused on giving me his opinion regarding treatment and all .
And finally I got everything ready to propose infront of my seniors tomorrow ... And said thanks to Arjun and bid our goodbyes.

Now here I am ... standing in front of hostel's entrance waiting for my friends and Ani ....

And I saw him coming ... But he wasn't looking so happy to see me or anything ... May be he had bad day at work .

He came near me and I was going to say hi when he suddenly said " save it , I didn't know you were like this Ananya , why did you ?  ... And besides I didn't say anything right ? Then ? "

Has he gone mad ?

"What happened? ... Ani , what are you talking about ? ... what did I do ? "

" May be you did something to brake me and Eesha up "

What ?

"What ? Are you crazy ?... Why would I do that ? ... Can you hear yourself ? Why would you say such thing ? "

"Yeah , I am saying that... I am saying exactly right ... You had crush on me right ?... That too from the first day of college ... May be "

What ? How did he ?

" Shut up ... When did I say that ? ... "

"Tanu told me ... You had crush on our college's Mr. fresher and was trying to get his attention since then."

Oh god Tanu ... Seriously... Why did she tell him? ... Why now ?

" Shocked right ? ... How I came to know ?  ... Well I did Ananya ... I thought you were good person ... But no you are same ... Same as those girls who were trying to get my attention at that time . You did it ...you.."

" Shut up ... Shut up ... Don't talk anymore ... You think I was like that ? ...what do you think of yourself ? ...  Yes Ani , I had crush on you may be the biggest crush ever ... But let me tell you when I started to like you I didn't know about Eesha or anything ...  And you think I have guts to break you two up ...to break your four years relationship ... You think that I would have plot some trick against you?.... How can you Anirudh? "

Now I had tears in my eyes ...this has totally broke my heart now ... This is more hurtful ... Why would he say such thing .

But when he started to say something I Stopped him with my hand and said
" No , you don't get to say anything ... Not after this.. and to think of it I am sorry that I had crush on you...... but let me very clear Mr. Anirudh Chakravarthy it was just a little crush ... Nothing else. "

And I turned my back and went to my room ... And cried myself out until sleep took over...
