Shikha was infuriated not only on him but also on herself. This was not the reaction she was expecting seeing her eternal enemy, Gangaputra Bheeshma. How could he be still young, he should be an aging old man.
But the thing is, he looks much better looking young. Except that stupid moustache.

She was bothered because he haven't recognised her and called her Putra rather than the fact that he is her past life's enemy.

Mentally slapping herself, Shikha put out her dagger. This non-sense has to stop right now. You can't have any feelings for your enemy, she thought.

And reversed back to the direction she had come.

She knows the tactics on how to approach anyone stealthily without getting seen by anyone.

There he was. Going in the direction of the room. His back visible from the far distant. She followed him. Just a right moment, and she would put this dagger on his shoulder blade.
Mission over and out. No feelings, No fuss.

She was only two feet behind him and was about to stab him, but at the very moment a hand pulled her inside a secluded room and dragged her to the outside. .

A very far far sound of Vāsudev Shri Krishna's flute was heard. He reached Hastinapur palace at the same time. .

Shikha was dragged out when she was about to accomplish the exact thing she has wanted. She looked at the person, who was dragging her. Panchali.

When they get outside, she scolded Panchali for her childishness.

"What the hell is this Panchali??? Why did you drag me out???" Shikha blurted.

Panchali questioned. "Jiji... What the hell you were doing??? You were going to stab Pitamah Bheeshma??? Why??? Are you crazy???"

Shikha quipped. "No, I'm not crazy. And yes I was stabbing Gangaputra Bheeshma. Because he.. he ..."

She doesn't know how much to tell Panchali.

Panchali exclaimed. "Because he what jiji ... You can't come into someone's palace and try to kill them. It's... It's... (She wasn't getting the right words)... Savage and Messy and would be bloody and all are here to celebrate. What has he done that you are trying to kill him???  And Gangaputra Bheeshma???"

She shook Shikha. Panchali was a little childish but she has all the sense of an adult, she can judge between right and wrong. And this is absolutely barbaric.

Shikha couldn't keep all the feelings she had inside for all those years. And she knows Panchali won't betray her secrets.

Panchali demanded. "why jiji, why???"

"Because he didn't marry me". Shikha shouted.

Panchali got confused  "What???!!! When???!!! What are you saying??? This is the first time we have been here in Hastinapur... No???"
