Moving away

It was the day. The day that I have to move away from my home in Japan. I hadn't been told about it till two days ago. Even though it's for my dads job, a botanist, I really didn't see why we had to move so far away, but the more I think of it, the more I don't mind it. I have no friends and well, not much of a life to be honest, I'm fifteen and still read comics, that should explain it. I'm pretty sure it was around 6am according to my alarm, I was exhausted. I stayed up binge reading the lost tribe. I was slowly drifting back to sleep, my eyes shut but then there was mum's voice quite close to my ear shouting about the fact that we would be late for our flight. All I wanted to do was stay in bed and read all day, wait. Silence. Wait actually never mind there was the shouting again. At this point I decided to get up and get ready. I patiently waited downstairs with my suitcases while reading the fifth comic in the collection (there are twelve). I put it in my suitcase as we would be in a rush then just started fantasising the new life we would be starting. "What are u doing sitting there? Go help your mother with the bags!" Exclaimed my dad in obviously a lot of stress. I simply said nothing and went upstairs and carried the bags down. I was the last to leave the house and for some reason it felt emotional. I could see why as I had grown up in it, but then again it was just a house I guess. After a very uncomfortable car ride, we finally arrived at the airport. Honestly, I could only hear crying babies and complaining Karen's. Gosh I was not in the right mind to deal with all of it so I suggested to my parents we all speed the process of getting through airport security. We got to the bit where you have to walk through these scanners, and I know I may sound ridiculous but at these times I get worried because my mind starts tricking me into thinking I have some illegal thing with me which I don't even know about. It's a relatable feeling right?
