I couldn't sleep. All I thought about was what happens and how I encountered a literal tribe. I just lay in my bed with the lights off thinking but I was too awake to try and fall asleep so I sat up and turned my lamp light on and got my comic collection and began to binge read and just less than half way into the collection I dozed off.
'Sweetheart, me and your father need to go back into down to run some more errands will you be ok on your own for the rest of the day?' Said my mum waking me up.
I just managed to grunt, I was so exhausted. 'Yeah I'll be fine don't worry.'
'Alright then! Take care!'
I thought of this as my chance to go back to visit the tribe again and meet up with Diego and I'll bring my comic collection with me. I quickly got dressed into a green polo shirt and jeans and a big coat as it was cold outside and looked like it might rain then I set off. Luckily I somewhat remembered the route and after 20 minutes of walking I found the stone steps that led me there in the first place. I started overthinking, what if I'm not welcome? I mean, I was never even invited. I continued walking up the steps and greeted my the same guard that had found me yesterday. 'Oh, you return, do you wish to speak to someone?'
I thought it would be rude to just enter without letting the leader of the tribe, Miguel, the big fat man with a lot of colourful jewellery so I went to his large hut and requested to talk to Diego and so my surprise, he had granted it. I walked over to his hut with my palms sweating as I was nervous. I knocked and he opened the door and thankfully he looked happy to see me. 'Mosu! You came back! You have a bag, what's in it?'
'Oh I wanted to show you the comic collection that Damien smith wrote about your tribe!'
'Wow are we really that famous?' He asked surprised.
'Well yeah bit no one knows you exist.'
'Oh well that's fine, can we read it?'
'Yeah sure!'
We ended up reading for hours because for most of the time we were just laughing about the funny events or just we just have a completely off topic conversation. I never knew how lonely I was until Diego. I guess you could say he was my first friend. We had finished reading the comics and then it was silent for a couple seconds.
'Mosu...'
'Yeah, what's up?'
'There is this girl, she lives in a hut not too far and her names Camila and um well I kind of like her and I can't get her attention.'
'Oh, wow I don't know how I can help, I have only had one crush my entire life and the only thing I did was embarrass myself in front of her. Have you talked to her at all?'
'No not really...'
'Then why don't you?'
'I don't know, I just don't know what to say I guess.'
I checked my watch and realised that I should get going before my parents get home.
'Hey Diego, I should get going, my parents could be back home soon.'
'Oh ok, you will come again though, right?'
'Yeah I mean we are friends right?'
'Yeah! See you soon! Bye Mosu!'
Just like that I left the hut and walked straight into the pouring rain. I started sprinting as fast as my legs could go so I could get dry before my parents get home. Soon enough I arrived and thankfully had remembered to take the keys and just 5 minutes after I had arrived, I heard the door click, oh no my parents are home. I ran upstairs and did the first thing I could think of which was pretend I was having a shower but I did actually need one. My parents yelled out 'Mosu are you ok?'
'Yeah I'm fine!' I mean, how could I not be, I had a friend.Hi!!! I hope the story is ok so far! I hope everyone is having a great day! :)
