Point of View: Ghost Bird

Hearing the rush of footsteps, I turn and feel Apa's hand drop from my side as I catch sight of Jose running full force across the field. Laughter escapes my lips and I open my arms. The male practically jumps into them knocking me a few steps back. "You're back!" He laughs squeezing me into his chest. "Did you see our team kick ass?" Jose pulls back jumping up and down slightly. "Mikael almost beat their asses. They were good but had no strategy." He states excitedly without drawing a single breath as he rushes through his words. "The coach seemed new so maybe that was the reason. I thought we had played them last year but Ari said we didn't."

A hand catches Jose's shoulder forcing him to stop bouncing and pause his rant. "Jose slow down." I smile finding the blonde haired blue eyed male. Jose pouts playfully toward Max as the male turns to me. Opening my arms, an easy smile appears on his lips and he steps into my arms. "Welcome back Izzy." He states softly into my ear as he bends down. Smiling, I give him a gentle squeeze before stepping back.

"Max I was just telling her about the game." Jose wines teasingly and Max rolls his eyes. The two couldn't be more opposite. One beyond hyper and always with energy to expend while the other was cautious and soft spoken. Watching as Jose bounces around Max to irritate him, his movement gives me a perfect view of the field.

My eyes catch on the two figures slowly approaching. Mikael holds his soccer bag, which is slung over his left shoulder as he keeps his head down his black roots on full display as his white locks hide his eyes. My eyes flick over to the muscular male carrying the soccer equipment whose attention is on my crow. The male must ask a question because Mikael shrugs clearly uninterested in what ever the male is asking. Kyle frowns at his lack of response but stops when he spots me watching.

Meeting his eyes, I study him for a moment before breaking the contact to study my crow. Confused as to why Kyle stopped talking to him, Mikael glances to his coach only to follow his stare to me. Meeting his soft grey eyes, a warm smile appears on his lips as the two approach. When he is about a foot away, he drops his bag and steps into my arms. Almost instantly I feel a number of eyes on me but I push the feeling of being watched away. Giving him a gentle hug, I hear him suck in a breath before giving me a gentle squeeze.

"Thanks for the save." He whispers his voice deeper than the last time I had seen him.

"You had it covered." I tease ruffling his white hair. Smiling, he doesn't pull away only taking me in as I take him in. Unable to ignore the feeling of eyes on me, I turn slightly expecting to meet those sharp brown eyes only to find surprised wide eyes on me. Interesting.

Before I can speak however, Mel pulls on my arm and the other crows step forward. Reaching down, I easily lift Mel into my arms. "Izzy this is Kyle. Kyle this is Izzy our sister." Ari states introducing us.

Giving a small smile, I shift Mel onto my hip and offer my hand. Still shocked, the male looks at it before extending his own hand. His palm is easily larger than my own as our hands meet. Feeling the others warmth, I give him a firm hand shake . "Its a pleasure to meet you." I state and he nods looking me over.

"Same here." He states his voice smooth. Before more can be said however, Aaron's bark signals its time to go. Spotting my pup with Apa, I move to follow shifting Mel in my arms.

The crows fan out around me along with Rafa, Zach, and Kyle as Aaron and Apa lead the way. My eyes wonder to the three strangers as we walk back to the church. Rafa, who carries Apa's chair over his shoulder, walks besides Zach, who holds Kyles soccer bag. The smaller seems to be moving a little slower than the rest of the group. Frowning, I watch as Rafa slips his hand under the strap of Kyles back and takes it from the smaller's shoulder.  Zach shoots a look to Rafa but ultimately looks relieved as he is able to pick up his pace, it is then that I spot a small limp.

Smiling at the small moment, I refocus on Apa and Aaron in front of us. "Coach Kyle took over when Thomas quit." Ari states drawing my attention. Shifting Mel, so that I can look to the right, I find Kyle, easily carrying the soccer supplies while keeping in step with Ari and Max. "Thomas said it was because he had no time since he had to study." Frowning, I glance to Max who shakes his head.

"Saw him smoochen with one of the college girls." I look up to Danny who is a few steps in front of us with Jose. Spotting the scowl on Danny's lips he kicks his soccer ball.

"Don't." Mikael warns from my left and Jose rangles Danny trying to pick up the other's spirit.

"But Kyle and Rafa have been awesome." Ari continues filling me in. "Rafa owns a gym where E.O.'s place was."

Frowning confused, Max quickly fills me in. "Renovated obviously." Nodding, I recall the dusty old bar that I remember as E.O.'s.

"He lets us practice and when Zach has free time he gives us training regimens." Danny and Jose nod and I glance to Rafa who has a small knowing smile on his lips.
