Keith sat on Lance's hospital bed, a hand gripping the males, while a newspaper rested on the table next to them.

"What if we rewrite the stars? Say you were made to be mine? Nothing can keep us apart." Keith took in a shaky breath as tears filled his eyes. "You are the one I was meant to find."

He stared at Lance, before picking up the newspaper that was on the table with his free hand.

On the front page was an image of Shiro and Allura, kissing.

Everything was falling apart. First, Keith and Lance. The fire that had destroyed their home, the place Keith could relax and finally perform. Now, Keith new something was going to happen between Adam and Shiro.

Why did everything have to fall of a suddenly?

. . .

Shiro sat in the bar, drinking as Pidge walked over to him.

"Figured you end here." She spoke, taking a seat next to him as the door to the bar opened. "Feeling sorry for yourself."

"Folks, if you've come to get paid, the money is gone. All of it. Nothing left to give you." Shiro began before Hunk cut him off.

"Oh shut up Shirogane. You just don't get it." Hunk shook his head, staring at Shiro. "Our own mothers were ashamed of us. Hid us our whole lives. Then you pull us out of the shadows. And now you're giving up on us, too. Maybe you are a fraud. Maybe it was just about making a buck. But you gave us a real family. And the circus... that was our home."

"We want our home back."

"I saw the sun begin to dim'

And felt that winter wind blow cold

A man learns who is there for him

When the glitter fades and the walls won't hold

'Cause from that rubble

What remains

Can only be what's true

If all was lost

There's more I gained

'Cause it led me back

To you"

Shiro glanced up at Pidge, tears in his eyes.

Pidge smirked down at the male as Shiro looked at those who stood behind, slowly standing up.

He walked to the back of the bar where pictures hung up on the wall.

"I drank champagne with kings and queens." Shiro slowly moved down the wall, looking at the pictures as he did so. "The politicians praised my name. But those were someone else's dreams. The pitfalls of the man I became. For years and years. I chased their cheers. A crazy speed of always needing more."

He stopped moving at the sight of an image.

His arm was wrapped around Adam, while his other hand rested on Jack's shoulder, Juno stood beside her brother, smiles on all of their faces.

"But when I stop. And see you here." He put the picture back on the wall. "I remember who all this was for." He turned to the others who stared at him. "And from now on. These eyes will not be blinded by the lights."

He signaled to Pidge and the bartender to pour drinks as he walked towards them.

"From now on. What's waited 'til tomorrow. Starts tonight."

He was handed two mugs that were filled with booze and handed one to Hunk, who took it from him.

The two lifted their mugs into the air, watching as smiles planted on everyone's face.

"It starts tonight!"

The group cheered as mugs were handed out to everyone as they danced in the bar.

"And let this promise in me start'

Like an anthem in my heart

From now on"

Shiro spun Pidge in a circle, causing her to laugh.

"From now on."

Shiro stopped dancing, a grin appearing on his face as he watched everyone dance. "Yes!"

"Home again."

Shiro's smile dropped as he looked back at the picture that was on the wall of him and his family. A hat appeared in his view, causing him to look over.

Hunk smiled gently at him, nudging his head towards the door.

"Go get him, Shiro."

. . . .

Keith felt the hand in his move slightly, which made him look down at Lance.

Lance's eyes slowly opened as he gripped Keith's hand.

The smaller males lower lip trembled, a small smile appearing on his face.

"You're here." Lance whispered, almost as if he was surprised to see the male in front of him.

Keith nodded, pulling his hand away from Lance. He placed his hand on Lance's cheek, moving closer to him.

He leaned down, connecting their lips, feeling Lance's hand move to the back of his head.

The kiss was gentle, slow and sweet.

Something they both had wanted for a long time.

"Why'd you run into the building?" Keith asked softly, pulling away from the male, resting their foreheads together.

"I thought you were still in there." Lance mumbled, one hand connecting with Keith's as the other moved to the males cheek. "I couldn't find you."

"I found a window." Keith replied.

The two went silent before Keith spoke up again.

"You're an idiot, you know that?"

Lance scoffed. "For what? Running in to save you?"

"Look what happened, Lance." Keith whispered. "You're in a hospital bed because you were reckless."

"I wouldn't say reckless." Lance chuckled. "Just in love with someone who is pretty amazing."
