Lance lifted up a piece of rubble, finding one of Keith's hoops stuck underneath of it.

Keith pulled it out, a sigh escaping his lips at the burn marks that appeared on it.

Shiro approached the group, catching Lance's attention.

"Bank said no?"

"Emphatically. Repeatedly. I don't think there's a banker left in the country I can fool into loaning me more money, so...I'm really sorry to disappoint you all." Shiro apologized, looking at those he had brought together.

"Don't worry, Shiro. We've gotten used to it by now."

The group laughed, which lifted the depressing mood.

"You know, Shiro..." Lance began, walking towards the male. "When I first met you...I had an inheritance, acclaim, an invitation to every party in town. And now, thanks to you, all that's gone. All that's left is friendship, love, and work that I adore." He glanced back at Keith who gave him a smile before he looked back at Shiro. "You brought joy into my life."

"Into all of our lives." Hunk added.

"Hear, Hear."

"If only the bank would take joy as collateral." Shiro mumbled.

"They may not...but I will. I own 10% of the show. Knowing who I was working for...I had the good sense to take my cut weekly." Lance chuckled.

Keith looked over at Shiro, a smirk on his face as he did so, holding back his laughter.

"Lance, I can't let you gamble it on me."

"Sure you can." Keith spoke up, interrupting his brother.

"Don't turn sensible on us now." Pidge scolded.

"Partners." Lance said, holding his hand out which made a smile appear on Shiro's face. "50-50."

The two shook hands, which caused Pidge to start laughing, to which everyone joined in on.

"Partners." Shiro chuckled.

"The only thing is... I don't know how we're gonna afford a building." Lance said.

Shiro sighed. "Right."

Keith frowned as everyone went silent.

"A building." Shiro mumbled. "We don't need a building. Why, I can get land down by the docks for almost nothing! All we need is a tent."

. . .

"And now, twirl in a circle!" Keith instructed, laughing as Juno and Jack bounced off of each other.

"So close." Lance grinned from beside the male.

Juno grabbed Keith's hand, pulling him forward.

"Dance off?" The niece smiled, a giggle escaping her lips.

Keith looked back at Lance. "What do you say boys? Want to have a dance off?"

"Well." Lance cleared his throat. "In order to have a dance off, we need a judge."

Keith was asked to watch the two kids so Shiro and Adam could go out for a little bit, deserving the break.

"Who do we ask?" Jack questioned.

Keith thought for a moment. "Hunk and Pidge?"

Lance shook his head. "They'll want to join."
