Downfall

"Give me my baby, Ivy."
It was unreal to Ivy, she didn't want to believe this was happening.
She turned around and stared at the person in front of her.
It was her sister.
"Give. Me. My. Kid."
Ivy clutched CJ closer to her chest, protecting him from harm.
"You're not taking him."
Florian, Sebastian, Rebel and Aurelia backed to the sides of the bunker, making way for the person who had come in.
"You knew we were gonna take him, didn't you?"
Mika chuckled and took a deep breath.
"Of course I didn't know, bozo. How was I supposed to know? They took him from me the moment he was born. I just wanna hold him."
Ivy took a step back, the rest of the group ganging up behind her.
"You're not taking him."
Mika chuckled once again. "He's my son. I have every right."
Ivy didn't move a muscle. CJ cooed a little and Florian carefully took CJ in his arms.
"Florian. You're still alive. I remember last time we saw each other you were lying on the floor, crying." Mika made fun of him.
"You shot him." Sebastian took a step towards her, hoping this would threaten her.
"Sebbie, are you even taller than last time? How's Alice?"
Sebastian stopped thinking for a moment. His mind went straight to his sister. He looked sad.
Ivy noticed everyone getting frustrated and Mika was enjoying it.
"I think you better go. You have no business here."
Mika nodded and walked back to the ladder.
She turned around before leaving and said:
"Be careful, your words can get you killed."
She then disappeared.

Everyone's heartbeats dropped as the lid of the bunker finally closed. They all breathed extremely loud.
"Everyone alright?" Aurelia asked them.
Not everybody nodded.
"It's okay guys. Next time, we'll..." Ivy began.
"NO! THERE'S NO NEXT TIME!" Sebastian yelled.
"THIS IS DANGEROUS! I SHOULD'VE NEVER HELPED YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE! WE'RE ALL RISKING OUR LIVES FOR THAT LITTLE KID WHO WE BARELY KNOW!"
Ivy knew this was hard on Sebastian.
"Seb, listen..."
"No, you listen! I'm not helping you anymore, I'm done."
Sebastian climbed up the bunker and left.
"Mika's out there. He's not safe." Ivy said, hoping this would spark a feeling of friendship and bravery among them, but nothing happened.
"Sorry, Ivy, but he's right. This whole plan was a stupid and dangerous idea."
They all left, except for Liz.
She stayed.
"Liz, I..."
"I'm not staying for you, I'm staying for CJ."
she pointed at the baby in the crib.

This was the beginning.
This was the downfall.
