Sebastian and Florian left the room behind them and continued following the corridors to the big room.
"Are you okay?" Sebastian asked him as he stopped walking so he could cup Florian's face with his hands.
"I'm fine, really." Florian tried to brush it off.
He continued walking on, but he stopped when his boyfriend spoke up.
"He died there, didn't he."
It was not a question, but a confirmation.
Florian turned around to face Sebastian and he nodded slowly.
"It wasn't your fault."
It didn't help a lot, but somehow, it did help.
The boys walked into the big room where they saw Ivy and Liz sitting in the corner, talking to someone.
Liz noticed them and ran up to them, CJ still in her arms.
"We have CJ, now we just have to find Relia and Rebel."
Sebastian's attention was fully dedicated to the little figure in the dark corner Ivy was talking to.
"Who are you?" he asked, softly.
"Seb?" he heard.
Before he could react properly, the figure got up from the dark and hugged him tight.
It took a few seconds for Sebastian to realise what was going on, he didn't understand why Ivy was smiling at him.
He then perked up, letting go of the figure and he looked at the green eyes right in front of him.
"Alice?"
He started crying and hugged his little sister once again, this time tighter than ever.
"How are you..?"
"I've been here since summer, a boy took care of me." Alice answered, still in her brother's arms.
"Theo." Ivy muttered, somehow being thankful to him.
"We have to get out of here." Liz said,Sebastian getting up, carrying his sister on his back, just like that summer.
"Where are those two?" Liz said, starting to think Aurelia and Rebel were gone for a long time.
Suddenly Mika entered, gun in hand, threatening Aurelia and Rebel.
"Good afternoon." Mika said mockingly.
Ivy walked towards her sister, in a hasty tempo, hoping she wouldn't shoot.
"Don't come any closer!" she yelled, pointing the gun at her sister.
"Shoot me then, Mika." Ivy said.
Doubt started to pile up in Mika's mind.
"Let then go, please."
"No! Give me CJ and I'll give you them."
Ivy sighed.
"You're not killing him."
"Killing him, what makes you think I'd kill my own son?" Mika sounded offended.
"Why else would you take him?"
"I can't say.."
Ivy knew Mika would break, so she continued.
"Tell me!"
The rest of the group watched, having no idea why Ivy was shouting like that.
"No!"
"Tell me, Gladys!"
"BECAUSE HE'S ALL I HAVE LEFT OF BEN!"
Mika cried out, dropping the gun.
The silence in the room was painful.
"What?" Ivy dared ask after sometime.
"CJ is all I have left of Ben."
"You killed him!"
Mika's tears were dripping down her face, unstoppable.
"That was a mistake!"
"You killed him, right in front of me!"
Mika walked closer to her sister, Aurelia and Rebel walking over to their friends.
"How is CJ the only...."
Ivy then realised.
"Is he... Is his father Ben?"
Rebel perked up at the mention of her brother.
Mika just nodded.
Aurelia carefully grabbed her phone from her pocket and dialled 911.
"You mean, that night... you raped him?"
"I didn't rape him, we had sex. When I found out I was pregnant, I... I resented him, so bad, but when VJ was born, I.. I saw everything about Ben that I missed."
She looked over at CJ in Liz's arms.
"Can I hold him one more time? Give me at least that."
Ivy nodded slowly, taking CJ from Liz and walking up to her sister.
She was about to hand him to her, but they were startled by a siren sounding in the street nearby.
"You called the cops?" Mika sounded hurt.
"I'm sorry."
Ivy felt a little sorry for her sister.
"It's the only way we'll all be safe."
