Mika told me

His name was Thomas.
I didn't understand.

The next morning Ivy and Liz had breakfast at the bunker.
CJ had had his bottle and was lying in his crib.
"So, how long you plan on staying with him?"
Liz asked Ivy.
"I don't know. I have thought about going back next year in April, when CJ's a year old, I could pose as a teen mom?"
"Isn't that going to be difficult? Raising him while you're away in London? That's gonna be draining."
"What other choice do we have? You can't take him to UCLA with you, I won't let you."
Liz took a deep sigh. "We could come clean by the summer. He'll be almost half a year."
Ivy got up to collect the plates and CJ wiggled in his crib once again.
Liz picked him up and he gurgled a little.
"We're not coming clean to my parents. They'll kill me and take CJ away from his family. I won't have that."
Liz sighed and sat down with CJ still in her arms.
"Well, we'll have to decide eventually. He can't stay here all his life."
She pointed at the bunker.

She was right.
CJ would eventually have to go to school and I couldn't keep him from that.
I promised myself to give him the best opportunities a person could ever have.

The two looked up at the sound of the hinges of the bunker being opened.
Ivy frowned and wanted to yell, but didn't.
Down came Sebastian, a strained look on his face.
"Seb? What are you..."
Soon they realised there was a person behind him, slightly smaller.
"I'm sorry, guys." he pleaded, his voice cracking a little as he spoke.
"I don't wanna hurt anyone." the person behind Sebastian said, "I'm here for the child."
Ivy walked towards Liz, who was holding CJ, and stood in front of her, protecting the both of them.
"You're not taking him."
She didn't even know who she was talking to.
From behind Sebastian stepped the boy from the day before, 'Thomas'.
He was holding a gun, pointing it straight at Sebastian's back.
"Mika sent you." Ivy realised out loud.
"She said you were clever, you'd figure it out in no time." he said, grinning a little.
"How did you know?" Liz whispered.
"He's pointing the gun at Seb's back, Alice got shot in the back last year, would only make sense for Mika to scare Sebastian with the exact same threat."
"Mika said you were so clever, it annoyed the shit out of her."
"Who are you really?" Ivy said to him.
"Mika told me not to tell you." he said, his voice softening a little.
This made Ivy realise, he was really just a puppet. Mika was using him, in a bad way.
"You can tell me. I'm her sister, she'll understand."
The boy was suddenly very small and helpless in a sort of way. Ivy couldn't help but feel sorry for him.
"She said she's gonna kill you." was all that came out of him.
"I need that child, or.."
"Or, what?"
"She..."
The boy took a deep breath, but he couldn't speak.
"She's gonna kill you too, isn't she?" Ivy said, getting closer to him, making eye-contact with Sebastian.
"You can let my friend go, that's a start right?"
She gestured towards the gun and placed her hand on Sebastian's shoulder.
"Please?"
The boy didn't make a sound for a few seconds, but then he lifted the gun, away from Sebastian, who walked over to Liz and CJ standing in front of them still.
"Okay.. You know I can't give you CJ. I can't let him be with his mother, I'm trying to find his other family, like his  father or aunts, uncles."
"Mika told me his father is dead."
Ivy frowned and wanted to ask more, but couldn't because the boy ran from sight, out of the bunker, into the woods.
"Damm." Ivy said.
She turned towards Sebastian, expecting a rant on how dangerous it was and how he, once again, would not help her anymore, but he didn't.
He just asked if everyone was okay.
"Ivy, we need to figure out who that kid is." He said to her.
"Hmm? Sure." Ivy was lost in deep thought.
"Mika told me his father is dead."
