"Gather around everyone" exclaimed Palpatine in his harsh voice. "We must work harder to topple the Jedi. I am promoting a few of you to a higher rank, and I'm dolling out more assignments and work". Palpatine then ushered his loyalists away, to carry out the various tasks he had set each of them to do. He believed with a functioning loyalist group, he could carry out his evil plans.

Back at the Jedi temple, the sacred Jedi council began their plans on how the trial where Anakin would face them would be like. Obi-Wan, like always was begging for mercy, which really started to put off a few council members. "Obi-Wan, stop, please, it's not up to you to influence all our minds" exclaimed Mace Windu in a really annoyed tone. Obi-Wan looked down in embarrassment, and left the room. While Obi-Wan walked down the hallways, he suddenly saw a strange looking shadow. He turned around, ready to draw his glowing lightsaber, and immediately recognized who it was. It was Yoda. Obi-Wan did a small bow with his neck, and in a polite voice asked Yoda "Yoda, what is it you need". Yoda replied and said that he wanted to talk with Obi-Wan. Yoda led Obi-Wan to a small chamber, and they both sat down.

Obi-Wan looked up at Master Yoda, and Yoda put his small green paw on his shoulder. Yoda then said "Try Anakin we must, punish Anakin we musn't". Confused by these words Yoda had just spoken, Obi-Wan asked for Yoda to re-phrase. Yoda shrugged, and walked out. He then whispered to Obi-Wan and said "stay here and think what I have said, young one". Yoda then left Anakin to think deeply in the chamber.

Meanwhile, a deal is underway in the planet of Yanibar. Sith lord, and former chancellor Palpatine is engaging in a deal with a group of mercenaries. Not only do the loyalists have an army of loyal soldiers, ready to do whatever Palpatine orders them to do, they have enough credits to pay for an entire legion of elite mercenaries. As Palpatine finished his transaction, he thinks to himself that one day, even these mere mercenaries will do anything for him... for free.
