Jennie's POV

Right, back to Caleb. I know that guy, he takes higher sciences with me. One thing I do notice about him is that he's fancy fancy. Way too fancy.

And by fancy, it also means rich.

He wears Gucci tees all the time, drives around his golden turbo porsche all the time, slurps his venti-sized caramel latte in his thousand dollar black thermo flask all the time, and carries a chic little basil mint mouth spray with him all the time.

What gets the girls and gay guys squealing all the time about him is his nifty escada custom-made jeans which no one else seemed to be able to afford.

But the problem is, he wears that shit all the time. He wears the same jeans all the time.

Are people that dumb to not notice or realise how unhygienic that even sounds?

The next thing I hate about men, is that when they're extra, they're horrendously extra.

Caleb is an easy example.

I prefer simplistic men, like let's say, Lisa. Although it isn't that comparable considering how she's a girl, but her unpretentious oversized shirt and trashed shorts was what made me fall in love.

I was stuck in my own head and my thoughts until I saw Nathan walk over. He's looking astonishingly different today for some reason.

"Hey babe." He said.

"We're on that basis now?" I raised my brow.

"I was meaning to ask if you'd wanna go out with me."

"This is a really nice proposal my dude." I deadpanned.

"No, wait," He caved his hands behind his back before pulling something out to my face, "I got you flowers."

Ee. Naive. Old-school.

"Thanks." I decided to smile. Not the best smile I could give I would say, but this will suffice.

"So? Are you my girlfriend now?"

With a simple and unbothered 'sure', that sent an ecstatic Nathan running down the hallways. Probably spreading the newfound news to his whores.

Immediately after that happened, I spotted a smirky Lisa emerging from behind my locker.

"Jesus Lili, why'd you come from there?" I flinched. She's crazy.

"I've been there all along." She shrugs, leaving me frowning in suspicion.

"Would you look at that dumb man?" She starts, chuckling as she watched his silhouette leave. From my point of view, all I can focus on is her attractive side profile as she faced his direction.

"Once you dump him in like three days, he's going to go boohoo." Lisa continues.

"What are you going to say though?" She asks, when I was too preoccupied with staring at her that I haven't replied to a single thing she's said since she's been here.

"What?" I scratched my temple, not really catching where she's coming from.

"When you break up with him."

"Ah," I sighed, "That I don't particularly appreciate his feminine voice and that I don't like clingy men."

"See, you caught on something." Lisa cleared her throat when she saw confusion written all over my face, "a week or so ago you were stressing over what to say when you dump them."

I shrugged boastfully, "For Caleb, I'd say that he's too fancy for my liking and that I prefer effortless guys who don't waste their time looking all lavish."

The blondie clapped her hands when she heard me, "Already preparing to take down the second target when you aren't even done with the first? That's my Nini."

I scoffed, "I'm Jennie Kim, I'm fabulous."

"Knew that, cheesecakes."

We were making our way back home, with our arms hooked around each other's as we ate ice creams since we were craving some.

Alright. I was very tempted to ask her what was going on the other night she was spotted at Niki's house after being at mine.

But I decided to brush it off. I trust her.
