"Well we can get you started next week, that way you'll be able to already be in and fully trained up by the time August gets here and then you'll be able to go on maternity leave" Kelly, my new supervisor told me and I nodded
"Okay. That's good with me"
"Alright then. Thank you for coming in this morning. I'll send you a copy of your schedule as soon as I get it made and we'll go from there"
"Alright" I told her as we both stood up, me struggling a little cause my belly just blew the fuck up over the past two months.
"You okay?" She asked with a slight laugh and I nodded
"I'm good. I'm just tryina get used to all of this" I rubbed my stomach
"How far along are you? 5-6 months?"
"6"
"Yeah you just getting started. Trust me, the real deal part of pregnancy JUST started for you."
"Oh lord"
We both laughed as we walked out of the back and she opened the door for me and I thanked her
"Alright, I'll be in touch sometime this week"
"Okay. Thank you" I replied before heading off to the car where Benji was waiting in the parking lot for me. As I approached the passenger door I could hear his music booming inside the car. As I got in the car he turned the music down while holding up his phone
"Bae look at this shit right here" He told me with a laugh and I closed the door
"Lemme get in the car first" I muttered before grabbing his phone. Shy sent screenshots of him and Bri arguing over text and Bri was violating his ass "oh my god"
"You seen when she called his ass a gremlin"
"I'm reading that now" I laughed, reading the rest of the messages as my phone started to ring. I picked my phone out of my bag while Benji grabbed his from me and we left the doctors office
"Hello?" I answered
"Hey, how did it go this morning?"
"Good. I'm supposed to start next week so she sending me a schedule sometime this week"
"Congratulations momma. Now that you got that out the way you can get ready for graduation tomorrow"
"Yeah MJ supposed to do my hair today when we get back to the house"
"What about your nails and toes?"
"Benji took me to get them done yesterday"
"Your dress? Shoes?"
"Yes and yes"
"Cap and gown?"
"My what?"
"Cap and gown"
"Oh shit" I cursed buy quickly realized I cursed on the phone with ma "oh my bad ma. I forgot to go pick it up. Benji take me by the school real quick" I slapped his arm repeatedly and he looked over at me with his face bawled up
"IGHT! You ain gotta keep hitting me. I hear you, damn"
"I can't believe I forgot my cap and gown"
"That's why I had to call and make sure you had everything.. also, baby talk. Did y'all come up with a name for the baby yet?"
"Mhhh not yet.. we needa get on that"
"Yeah because I found this lady that makes custom made stuff and I was gonna get her to make some stuff with the baby's name on it"
