taeyong stayed unmoving for a few minutes and jennie was starting to get anxious. he was mad at her, damn she knew it! oh why didn't she just send him a teeny tiny text? his mother wouldn't have seen her if she did it inside the dressing room or in a bathroom stall. she opened her mouth to apologize once more when taeyong finally spoke up.
"why didn't you call me back jennie? i was worried." he said. she could sense the hurt in his voice.
"well guess i'm sorry." she mumbled as she mutters a bunch of 'sorrys'.
"what?" taeyong exclaimed in surprise. what did his mother do now?
"she was in school earlier this afternoon and asked me to go shopping with her. i didn't want to say no to her." jennie explained.
"you could have just sent me a text telling me where you were." taeyong said. he still couldn't help but sulked that jennie ignored him the whole afternoon. didn't she know how worried he was about her? he almost begged his friend ten to ask his men to find her!
"well i really wanted to but your mom told me not to." jennie said repentantly, arms crossed in her chest.
"what?" taeyong exclaimed. "she told you not to answer my calls?" he couldn't believe his mother actually said that.
jennie nodded. "she said that you would survive even if you don't get to talk to me for a few hours." she explained, smirking.
the others snickered from behind earning them a death glare from taeyong. taeyong tried to remain calm even if he wanted to strangle his mother for doing this to him.
"by the way," taeyong cleared his throat. "you look pretty." he commented as he gazed at her awkwardly.
"thanks." jennie replied as her face flushed red in embarrassment on being complimented by taeyong.
ten tried to choke back a laugh while yuta bit his lip to hold back his smile. they couldn't help it. their two friends were acting like two high school kids.
"would you like something to drink jennie?" ten finally intervened in order to save his friend from further embarrassment.
jennie turned to smile at ten. "that would be great ten, thanks." she said as she followed ten to the bar.
taeyong headed back to the sofa to wait for jennie while yuta followed close behind. taeyong studied jennie from afar. he couldn't help but stare at her shapely legs and her cute little behind. stop it taeyong! he reprimanded himself. jennie would kill you if she finds out what you're thinking.
