Now, the moth, the fruit bat, and the bunny remain. I have all my troops alive, but Rexy is coming back from throwing a triceratops into the Atlantic Ocean and Jimmy is covered in triceratops poop. (Read the previous chapter. If not, all this won't make ANY sense.) Jenny, the nuclear moth's green ooze and my radioactive laser beam meet in the middle of the stadium. You know, like in 'Harry potter'. I knock him all of the way to South America! No, I'm just kidding, I only knocked him into South Carolina! I turn over and see Pépe wave at the other bunny. "RETREAT!" Jenny, their leader yells. The fruit bat, the bunny, and the moth fall back. Even the bruised and wet triceratops trudges out and shoots Rexy a look of disgust. "😡." His face read. "Where's Pépe?" I ask. I see him and his new nuclear friend walk off into the cheesy sunset. "Viva PARIS!" Pépe yells as he waves two plane tickets in the air.
"There goes that character." Jimmy says.
"They got away with the corn puff coupon!" George yells.
"No they didn't! It's right here!"
We turn around and see Pépe. "Pépe! You're staying!" Rexy says joyfully. "And... You can speak English......... Really well!!...."
"Oh, I'm not staying!" He says.
"Have fun in Paris with your new girlfriend!"
"Girlfriend? She's just my high school friend. We're going to study abroad this semester. Great, right?!"
"Oh. Well. Have fun!"
"Will do!"
Pépe walks off. We stare at the coupon. Yes!
We all walk to the corn puff store and fill our radioactive bellies a mile high in pizza flavored corn puffs. I will never eat again. Oh who am I kidding, OF COURSE I WILL!!!
