chapter 4

The bright, 10 am sun danced on the two boys skin. Shoyo stretched, being pulled out of sleep. He opened his eyes and looked at the boy he had his arms wrapped around. He inhaled deeply, smelling his strong scent... seemed like cologne... but also, maybe... strawberries? Hinata moved his head closer, putting his head in Kenmas neck, and inhaled deeply.

"Do I smell good?" Shoyo jumped at the sudden noise from the half blonde boy. He moved back slightly to face Kenma.

"Mhm... like strawberries and cologne," Kenma laughed softly.

"Well thats good... You smell good too," The redheads face heated up and he smiled.

After a few more moments up sitting under the warm comforter, Hinata sat up, un wrapping his arms from Kenma. "Oh! Kenma," Shoyo smiled, "I never got to show you what I got last night!"

Kenma watched the boy jump up and go to the door.

Oh yeah, Kenma thought, he never did get to show me. After he... kissed me. We just watched a couple movies and went to sleep...

Shoyo walked back over to the bed and sat down. He grabbed our switches from off thr ground and handed mine to Kenma. He looked at the rehead confused and then Shoyo grabbed something out of his pocket.

He smiled and presented it, "I got Animal Crossing!"

Kenma smiled, "I didnt know you were into that game. Did you look it up after I told you about it?"

"Nope!" Hinata smiled, "I have no idea what this game is or if I like it... But I got it so we could play together!" Kenma looked up at him, shocked.

"Ah, Shoyo... Thats sweet," They both smiled and stared at eachother for a while until Hinata spoke up.

"I like hanging out with you... So I hoped that this would bring up closer!" Kenma goggled softly and hugged Hinata. He wasnt someone who showed affection well, so this was a big step. Hinata wrapped his arms around him, smiling and shoved his head into the crook of his neck.

They sat there for a few minutes.

Knock, knock.

"Shoyo?"

Hinata flung off of Kenma and went to the door.

"Oh! Hey mom! Whats up?"

They exchanged a few words but Kenma wasnt really listening... He... He bought a game, JUST to play with Kenma. And he- he kissed him... and-

"Kenmaaa??" The boy snapped out of his thoughts, he looked up and Shoyo. He was standing in the doorway, his mom behind him.

"Oh, uhm... Sorry. Whats up?"

"Moms heading to the park with Natsu, do we wanna go?" The orange haired boy didnt seem his usual over-enthusiastic self.

"Uh, up to you." Kenma replied, trying to see what was bothering Hinata.

The redheads eyes lit up at that, "Oh! Are you sure?" Kenma nodded, "Okay! Nope we arent coming, Mom!" His mom frowned slightly and Hinata shut the door.

"Why didnt you want to go?"

"Because..." Hinata looked down and smiled, "I just wanna be with you, not them..."

Kenmas face took over a pink color as he replied, "O-Oh... Okay."

Hinata smiled at him, "Wanna watch a movie?" Kenma nodded and Hinata went back over to the bag, pulling out apple juice. Kenma smiled, my favorite. He couldnt believe Shoyo knew that.. maybe it was a coincidence?
