chapter 19

Things mostly went back to normal after Hinata and Kenma made up. He was being more passionate at volleyball again. Although he wasn't completely his bubbly self. Some days, he came in with his hood up, and didn't talk to anyone. Only responding to the teachers when they dress coded him. Although he didn't even say much then either.

But to be fair, those were the days he usually came in pretty stoned. Somehow, no one noticed.

He stopped smoking as much, but it was a bad habit. Its hard to stop completely.

Hinata shut off his phone from answering Kenmas text, and put his chin on his knees.

"You good?" Aki asked, poking Hinatas cheek. Aki recently transferred here so he hung out with Hinata and Kageyama a lot.

"Mhm," Hinata hummed. "Im so tired though, lifes so boringg."

Aki laughed "It is," He agreed. "We should go to the beach this weekend! You can even invite your boyfriend and we can invite some other people we know!"

"Yeah! And hes not my boyfriend, Aki. Im gonna hit you," Hinata mumbled. The white haired boy rolled his eyes,
mumbling something about him being a bully.

The bell rang signaling lunch was over. The three boys got up and headed off to their classes.

Hinata texted Kenma as he walked down the hall.

on saturday we are all going
to the beach>

Okay! You can bring Kuroo
or anyone you want>

Hinata arrived at his classroom and went and sat down.

"Hey!" A high voice greeted him and the seat next to him was taken.

Hinata looked up to the brunette girl. He hummed in response and played with his pencil.

"Im Shogita Yumishi!" She intoduced to the boy.

Hinata smiled at her. "Im Hinata. Shoyo Hinata," He says before resting his forehead on his crossed arms.

The girl sighed and played with her pencil. "So how long have you lived here?" She asked.

"My whole life," He replied.

Yumishi hummed, "I moved in a month ago or so. I used to live in Tokyo, its so different!"

"You used to live in Tokyo?" He asked, sitting up and resting his head on his hand.

"Yep!" She smiled.

"Nekoma?" Hinata asked the girl. Yumishi quickly nodded. "Oh, cool."

"Why?" She asked cocking her head to the side slightly.
