chapter 7

Hinata hugged Kenma as tight as possible. They pulled away and Hinata whined.

"I dont want you to go Kenma!!" He groaned, playing with Kenmas hair with his hands that were still rapped around Kenmas neck.

"I dont want to either, but we have school."

"Then move over here and go to Karasuno!" Hinata whined and Kenma smiled, kissing him briefly.

"Thats not how it works. Besides, what about volleyball? I cant okay at Karasuno, you guys already have two setters and one barely gets to go in."

"Then I will move!"

"Shoyo, you cant do that either," he sighed.

"Why not???"

"Because," Kenma replied.

Hinata sighed and pulled Kenma in, kissing him.

He pulled away, "Fineee... But come back next chanfe you get, okay??" Kenma nodded, and turned seeing his train arrive. Hinata whined again and kissed Kenma one last time before the boy headed off.

Hinata headed home on his bike. He opened the door and took off his shoes, walking to the bathroom to shower. After he got ready for dinner, which would be instant noodles since his mom was out of town. He grabbed pajamas and watched his show before going to sleep.

----At School----

Hinata sat down in his seat and looked at the time. 20 more minutes! He took out his phone and messaged Kenma.

Hey Kenmaaa>

<Hey Shoyo

Whatre you up toooo>

<Im in class

Blehhh me too! My teacher hasnt came in yet though>

<Really? Mine started teaching a couple minutes before you messaged

Oh! Ill let you go then!>

<you dont have to

no its okay! have fun!! message me laterr>

Hinata shut off his phone as Kageyama walked through the door.

"Hey Kageyama!"

The dark haired boy hummed in response and sat down.

"How was your weekend?"

"It was fine." Kageyama responded, pulling out his books.

Hinata looked at him before sighing and getting out his own books. The teacher walked in ad the bell rang and they started class.

"Ugh finally! Im starving!" Hinata groaned, carrying his lunch and decided to go to the courtyard. He say Kageyama and walked over to him. "Hey!" The boy didn't respond or even look up, he just continued eating. "Uhh- Kageyamaa," Hinata called, waving his hand in front of his face.

The boy sighed, "Hi."

"Oh! I thought you were ignoring me!!" Hinata smiled, sitting beside him.

They sat in silence and both ate. Hinata swallowed his food and looked at Kageyamas face, he was sitting there staring at his food. Hinata bit his bottom lip and grabbed his phone.

Hey Kenma>

Hinata stared at his phone for a few minutes, but got no reply.

Kenma?>

He sighed in defeat. Kageyama glanced up at him slightly before looking back down.

More minutes past, probably 20 since the last text Hinata sent. Hinata opened his phone again, Maybe I missed a message? Yeah. That was probably it.

Hinata was startled. Kenma had never ignored him before... He seemed to make everyone do that, huh?

"D-..." Hinata looked down in his lap, "Do you hate me, Kageyama?"

Startled, the dark haired boy raised his head.

"I- Im sorry if I upset you... more than usually at least..." Kageyama sat there, contemplating on responding. "I just tend to make everyone tired of me... Y-... I thought that you, alrhough you do get upset with me often, would never- never seriously ignore me."

The dark haired boy started to open his mouth, but was stopped as the red head continued.

"Maybe Im being dramatic? But- But now you AND Kenma... A-Are ignoring me? Whatd I do..?"

Kageyamas face softened, he sighed and moved to hug the red head. Hinatas eyes widened, Kageyama wasnt one to really show comfort, or any positive emotion, strongly.

"I- Im sorry, Shoyo. I was..." He thought about it... If he says jealous... Will Shoyo realize his feelings and hate him? He sighed, "I was jealous... Of you and Kenmas close friendship," He made sure to add the last part quickly.

"Wha- Why??" Hinata lightly pushed the boy away, looking him in the eyes.

"Y- Uh, because, I thought it would... eh- affect our volleyball plays and such!"

Hinata stared at him in disbelief. "Bakayama!!!" Hinata yelled, lightly hitting the back of Kageyamas head. "You! You stupid!! I would never let friendships ruin that!!"

Kageyama sighed, "Yeah okay, okay."

Hinata stuck out his tongue and smiled before sighing, "Now I gotta figure out why Kenmas ignoring me," He stuck his tongue out again, "Keeping people happy is so hard."

Kageyama smiled and they decided they should head off before they were late.
