chapter 5

"Do you like me?"

Kenma froze, his heart skipped a beat. Thoughts were racing through his mind.

Would Shoyo hate him? Is he gay? Would this affect their friendship? He DID kiss him but maybe that was just to see if he liked him... Maybe he was grossed out.. What if-

"Kenma!" His eyes widened as he reconnected their eye contact. Kenma felt Hinata drop his hands down on top of his. He saw his expression... Was Shoyo... Sad? Did Shoyo like him? Or... was it out of pity?

"Kenma... Please answer me..." Shoyo felt tears prick his eyes, threatening to fall, "I-Its okay if you dont!... Or do! I-... You dont have to answer... just please... Say something."

Kenma sighed, trying to relax his heart that was going at a million miles per hour.

"Shoyo..." Hinatas eyes lit up.

"Y-Yeah?"

"Are... Are you gay?"

"Well..." Hinata looked down, not knowing what to say. Was he? I mean, hes never felt what he felt for Kenma with anyone... Not even his past two girlfriends. "I- Im not sure..."

Kenma looked down at their hands.

"I mean... I think..." Hinata observed Kenma, trying to read his expression. Kenma raised his head, meeting his gaze again, "I... Ive never felt like this towards the girls I have dated..."

Kenmas eyebrows furrowed, "Like what?"

Hinata took a deep breathe and raised his hand again, closing the space between them and connecting their lips. He felt his lips tingle and that feeling raced throughout his whole body, causing to slighly shiver.

Hinata pushed Kenma away softly, biting on his lip.

"L-Like that..."

They both sat there in silence, their faces were red and they were watchint eachother.

"... Shoyo-"

"I-Im sorry!" Hinata quickly apologized, "I shouldve asked first! I probably made you uncomforta-"

Hinata was cut off by Kenmas lips, causing the tingle to shoot through his whole body, hus stomach filling with butterflies. Kenmas hands moved to Hinatas hips and moved him, so instead of curled up in Kenams lap, he was straddling him. Hinata moved his hands to his shoulders.

After a minute they broke apart, panting.

"Yes." Kenma answered.

Hinata tilted his head in confusion.

"Yes, I like you Shoyo," Kenma smiled, and Hinatas expression raised. He pushed the beck of his neck towards him, kissing Kenma. Kenma smiled softly into the kiss.

Kenma softly bit Hinatas bottom lip, Hinata opened his eyes. Hes never gotten this far... He was confused, then Kenma licked his bottom lip.

Hinata pulled away, Kenma looked at him, "Oh sorry... Did you not want to do tha-"

"What does that mean?"

"Hm?"

"When you licked my bottom lip... What does that mean?"

Kenma stared at him, then giggled.

"Wha- Kenma! Stop laughing at meeee!"

Kenma laughed harder and Hinata whined.

"Fine. Dont tell me." Hinata got off him and went and sat in his chair, pulling out hisphone and texting the gc.
