chapter 26

"WAKE UPP!!"

Hinata's eyes snapped open at Aki shaking him aggressively. He sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"Hm? Why?" Hinata mumbled before yawning.

"You have been sleeping forever! We all already had breakfast, you refused to wake up!" Aki huffed.

"Oh! Sorry!" Hinata apologized. He looked around the room and saw Kenma and Yumishi talking. He was about to look away and look for Naoki when he saw Yumishi gently hold Kenma's face and bring their faces together.

Hinata quickly looked away and met Naoki's eyes. He smiled. Naoki bumped their foreheads together softly. Hinata giggled. "I saved you some breakfast," Naoki tells him and grabbed the box on the nightstand. He hands it to the bright-faced boy. 

"Thank you!" Hinata gushed as he opened the small bag and took the meat bun out. "Ah! Meat buns are my favorite!" He quickly took a bite of the mean bun and sighed. "Oh, so what are we doing today?" 

"Going home," Kageyama responded from the couch, holding Aki. Hinata pouted but nodded.

They all got all their stuff from off the floors and dressers and left. The group chatted for a while before parting ways and heading back. Hinata jugged Naoki tightly and made sure to give him all his social media accounts. Hinata walked up to Kenma and Kuroo.

"Uh, hey guys," Hinata awkwardly looked down. Kenma hummed and instinctively moved closer to Kuroo. He mumbled a small hi back, looking at everything except Hinata. Hinata softly frowned.

The two boys entered the house in silence. Kuroo left a few minutes ago since he had to be home as soon as possible. Hinata led Kenma to his bedroom. Kenma went to his bags and packed as Hinata silently watched him. The only audible sounds were the shuffling of clothes and Kenma's Nintendo Switch case being shoved in the bag.

"How do you know... Yumishi?" Hinata finally spoke up after a few minutes of painful silence. 

Kenma looked up to him before quickly looking back at his bag. "Uh, she... We dated... A while ago." Hinata's chest tightened as Kenma spoke. "She was toxic though and forced me to do a lot of stuff... She also had some very big opinions about me. My looks, personality, hobbies," Kenma glanced at his switch. "I didn't think I'd see her again... She isn't so bad now but, still not my favorite.

"Oh my god... Kenma!" Hinata's eyes widened at everything the boy just confessed. "I wouldn't have invited her if you told me that!" 

Kenma shrugged and looked back towards Hinata. "I didn't know who you were inviting. Plus, it's no big deal anyway."

Hinata felt his eyebrows furrow in concern. "Wait, if you don't like her... So, you weren't flirting with her?" He tried not to smile but his body betrayed him as he displayed a big smile.

Kenma looked up at him and cocked an eyebrow and slight;y smirked in amusement. "No? How did you get that impression," He teased.

Hinata smiled and slid off the bed, running to Kenma and hugging him. "I really need to stop jumping to conclusions, huh?" He hummed while stuffing his face in Kenma's neck. Kenma sighed and nodded. The two boys sat in silence for a while, listening to each other's breathing. "Please don't love anyone else but me..." Hinata whispered.

Kenma kissed the top of his head. "Promise."

also sorry this is a short chapter I have no good ideas left and I just wanted to at least publish s o m e  t h i n g so-

and my home situation thingy (if anyone cares LMFAO) is better :P I font live full time w my dad anymore but I'm still there a lot so that sucks ass :/ oh well
