Alec and Ellie arrive at The Traders hotel on the high street. They use the back entrance mainly to avoid any people or any questions. They arrive to Alecs room where he opens the door for Ellie. She sits down and looks over what is now the street where she walked with the killer everyday for 6 years. Alec poor's a glass of wine and sits next to her. "What are you going to do?" He asks Ellie. He expects a short and angry reply but is startled when she says " I Dunno, I know one thing though. I won't be staying here." Ellie says calmly. "What about you?" She says. "Me? Oh I'm done here. At least I think I am. I came here to lie low, but now I'm not sure whether I've done that or whether I still can do that" he replys. "Ellie I need to ask you something." Ellie's face becomes more serious. "Would you consider staying in Broadchurch?" Ellie's face looks worried and confused. She's not sure whether Alec is joking or not. "Are you serious?!" She laughs. "Sorry sir but how am I to walk down the high street now? Everyone will look at me and think I bet she knew, when I didn't". She starts to cry. Alec feels awkward and doesn't know what to do. "Sorry Miller, wrong timing." Ellie stands up and begins to leave "Thanks Sir". Alec gives her a confused face. "For the drinks!!" She shouts. "Oh right yeah um not a problem". Ellie smiles and says "Goodnight sir." "Night" he replys. Ellie opens the door and begins to leave when Alec says "Miller, stay safe". She leaves. Alec is alone once again.
As Ellie begins to walk down the high street she approaches Olly Stevens. Her nephew. She wonders why he's not at home with his mum, Tom and Fred. He's running and shouting... She begins to panic. She runs towards him. "Whats happened?" She says with a break in her voice "Its Tom. He's gone" Her face drops.
