"Afternoon Paul". Says Alec. "I just need to ask you a couple of things." A scared Paul looks at him. "Why were you drinking with Becca Fisher last night when you used to attend Alcoholic Anonymous meetings? He asks blunty. Ellie looks at him angrily, perhaps he could've said it a bit nicer she thinks to herself. Paul doesn't answer, instead just stares at the ground. "Come on Paul, spit it out." Alec says. "I just felt like I needed to try it again." Replys Paul. "No you didn't. Trying it again is not a valid reason." Says Alec. "Just tell us the truth Paul." Ellie says frightfully, she knows Hardy will tell her to shut up. "Quiet Miller." Orders Alec. "I'm going to ask you again. Why were you drinking with Becca Fisher last night when you used to attend Alcoholic Anonymous meetings?" "And I'm going to say the same answer, I felt like I needed to try it again." Says Paul. Alec knows he's not going to get anything else out of him so questions him further "Why?" He says. "Becca and I were talking, she suggests that we have a wine, I said ok because I if said no she would've questioned me into why I didn't accept her offer. I didn't want her knowing about my past." He replies. "What did you drink?" Asks Alec who is intrigued by the reply Paul gave him. "I had a glass of wine and 2 beers." "Two?" "Yes." "Alright." Alec walks off, the conversation finishes abruptly. "Sorry" Ellie whispers to Paul. She follows Alec to the car. "You do know that people in Broadchurch have something that you don't." She says "They have something called politeness, which involves in saying please and thank you." Alec doesn't say anything. "Right where to now?" She says as they hop into the car. "Speak up" she says to Alec who isn't saying a thing. "Just take me back to my room" He finally says.
