"Where are you? We need to find you.. Now!" That was the text sent by Olly to Ellie. She replys "Am still at field. Hardy gone in ambo. Meet me in the middle." Ellie begins to walk in the cold and wet pastures.
She can finally see 3 torches coming towards her. At last she can see Mark, Olly and Lucy. They all arrive giving news to her which isn't surprising. Paul was not at the church. She then remembers Paul Coates telling her that he suffers from terrible insomnia. He said to her that he often walks around at night. She informs the others of this. Olly then says "If he suffers from insomnia, wouldn't that mean that he might've seen Tom?" "Bingo!" Ellie replys. This the first time today that she has felt like she is actually getting somewhere.
They decide to head back up Briar Cliff, going down the main street and heading up past the caravan park. All lights are turned off except for one. Susan Wrights caravan lights are on. "Hold on" Ellie says, they all stop. She knocks on the door. "Hello?!" No response. Where could she be? All of a sudden Nigel Carter drives up in his truck. They know it's him because of the distinctive writing saying 'Mark Latimer Plumbing'. Nigel gets out of the car slamming the door as if he's angry "Evening Mate" says Mark. "You haven't seen young Tom Miller round have you?" Nigel shakes his head. Ellie is curious to know why he would be driving round in his car this late. She doesn't bother to ask though. She knew if D.I. Hardy was here he would be wanting to know why. Nigel offers to help out. All 5 begin walking up Briar Cliff, no sign of Tom. They pass the hut where Danny was killed. Both Ellie and Mark stop outside and reflect. Ellie looks inside but can not see anyone so they carry on. They all begin to descend down Briar Cliff towards the beach when suddenly they see someone up on the cliff walking towards them. The person instantly turns around to go to the other way. "Stop right there!" Shouts Ellie. The mystery person turns around. They all flash their torches towards the person revealing their face. Its Paul Coates.
