Impossible love

Its not time.

Abena's pov

My head hurt so badly. I squinted my eyes at the bright light hovering over my sight.

" Is it too much?" I heard someone say.

I turned to find my mom smiling at me.

I nodded.

" Are you okay now ,wait I'll call the Doctor here"

She called the Doctor who came and checked my pulse.
" You are a real survivor, miss,we didn't expect you to live" The Doctor smiled at me.

My mom was struggling to keep her tears.

I tried remembering the last part of my kidnapping.
I remembered seeing Zayn there and suddenly I had blacked out.

Wait! Zayn!!
" Mom I need to see Zayn where is he?"

I wanted to get up but my body wasn't functioning well. Her sobs became louder as I mentioned Zayn.

" Speak to me,tell me mom"

" He.... mistakenly shot you,but he felt bad about it so he ........"

" He what......??"

" He shot himself,he lost so much blood ....he may not survive...he's been in coma for a week now,so have you"

My heart clenched at the thought of not seeing Zayn again. I never got to tell him how much I felt weak anytime he smiled and his cheek dimpled. I never got to tell him, how much I loved him.

The thought of losing him made me cry harder. My mom held me.

" Ryan??"
" He was caught, Xander too"

I nodded lightly. The door opened and Tyron and Trisha came inside.

" You're awake" they shrieked and run to my side.

"If only Zayn would wake up" Trisha said sadly.

" Don't worry in case he doesn't,I will take care of you" Tyron boasted and I smiled at him.

" Rachyyyy" Queen shouted from the doorway and run to my side. Gently shoving the kids aside,she called on the rest Terry,Oliver, Drake and Sedrick.

Even though I was awake,they all had sad faces on. The possibility that Zayn couldn't make it was so high.

I sighed.

" I need to see Zayn " I pleaded for the tenth time.

" I'll tell Uncle Duncan to see what he can do".Drake assured.

Even though I was a little bit weak,I persuaded the Doctor to let me stay by Zayn's side.

His face was as white as snow,almost lifeless.

The tears I had  been holding back fell  on his cheeks and rolled downwards.

At this moment I wanted fantasy to be real. The  tears of Rapunzel that woke Eugene up.

Zayn didn't flinch. His handsome face still stayed the same. His dimple was lightly showing.

As I was alone with him,I let the tears fall.

" Why did you do this Zayn.,did you think of your mother your father,your family???"

" Why did you shoot yourself for me,I'm not worth it,I love you but I'm not worth it for you to die"

" Please come back to me it's not time for you to go"

Bitter tears coursed down my cheeks as Zayn still stayed the same.

" Please,what do you expect me to do without you, wake up or else after school I'll marry Lucas" I threatened. I knew I would never do that but I wanted him to feel it.

It somehow worked. His eyelids fluttered a bit and shut again.

" Don't do this to me" I placed my head on his chest and sobbed Loudly.

" Rachael?"

Nedra and Duncan appeared at the doorway. I wiped my tears looks embarrassed.

" I'm so sorry I'm the cause of this" I apologised.

They both smiled sadly.
" It's not your fault honey,let's just hope he will wake up" Duncan replied sadly.

" We'll leave you alone with him okay?" I nodded.

They left and I resumed my position.

I whispered lightly to him
" Please it's not time yet,don't go".

I fell asleep in that position.
