Impossible love

My last breath

This might be a very short chapter.

Zayn's Pov

" What's RH?" Queen was holding my phone as she read out the text message from Rachael.

I began to think fast but I couldn't fathom. Then suddenly I remembered.

" RUBEN HAVEN, Rachael and I have been good there" I exclaimed.

I drove there in haste.

Ryan was the worst kidnapper ever. How could you even think of bringing someone here. I smirked triumphantly.

Xander was at the back seat groaning from my kick earlier on.

I called my father to tell him about my whereabouts and he agreed to send the cops over.

We got there and I instructed Drake,Sedrick and Terry to park at different angles.

Oliver was parked at the far end.

I slipped out and Queen followed me .

" Please stay here, Rachael would not be  happy if she hears that you are doing this"

" That's my best friend there,I'll do anything to save her" Queen shouted and I raised my hand up in surrender.

" Let's go"

We crouched to the back of the warehouse and I almost laughed at the pathetic sight of the people guarding the place. Only two spineless fools were standing there.

Queen could hardly keep a straight face.

I called Drake to take care of them whilst I sneaked in with Queen. The sound of someone screaming made me follow the noise.

The sight made me flinch. Ryan was lying on a half naked Rachael whose eyes were red.

My heart clenched as I realized that not even I had seen her like this before. I brought out my gun ,given to me by my father and pointed it at Ryan.

At that moment I wished I hadn't because as soon as I released the bullet,Ryan turned and ducked.

The realization hit me cold as I saw Rachael lying there lifeless. A pool of blood forming around her.

The sound of sirens were heard as I saw Queen crying over Rachael.

How could I shoot her ...the love of my life.,how could this happen.

Everything dropped dead around me as I pool of tears slid down my face. Sedrick put an arm around me and I just stood there.

All what I saw was the police tackling Ryan and a group of medics carried Rachael. The realization that she could be dead hit me as I ran to her.

Even in shock,her face was beautiful. Her lips had became pale.

" Say something to me Rachael,tell me you're alive,I didn't mean to hit you please wake up"

The medics had a hard time restraining me as I held on to her. I shot her. The only words that rang through my head.

" Chill,she will be okay" I heard my mom say.

When did they all get here. She was hugging me but I wasn't seeing her.

" It's not your fault honey"

" Mom I shot my girlfriend" I said.

She hugged me.

I let go off her as I saw them closing the car Rachael was put in. Oliver and Sedrick were having a hard time restraining her mom.

" You cannot die, please Abena menk) gya me" her mother said .

Die! Die! Was all I heard .

I looked down and realized that the gun was still in my hand. I hesitated a bit but the realization of what I've done hit me.

I pointed the gun to my head.

" I'm coming Rachael"

How could I live life without her. She had been my main source of happiness.

" Don't do this Zayn" I heard Drake say and before he could say anything....................

I felt blood trickle down my face mixed with my tears.

I fell down in the arms of my mom as I breathed my last.
