Can't let go

Abena's Pov

It's been weeks off pure torture,weeks of loneliness.

In the few months that I've been here many things had happened.

I rejected Zayn,the first day we met,I fell in love with him, we broke up, I got to  know about Ryan's real identity and my Dad was in prison for trying to sell me. None of them bothered me that much than Zayn's hospitalization.

It's been three weeks now and he still wasn't awake. I had become a shadow of my own else. I could say the same of the rest too. Drake and Sedrick hardly smiled. Queen and Terry always had a sad frown on their face and Oliver who even cracked jokes for us was also quiet.

Inez took that time to be a bitch on me. I always ignored her which hurt her the most. Right now I didn't want to mind her or speak with her not without my Zayn.

Going to school without Zayn was something else. I never really concentrated. I was always waiting for a call from the hospital which never came.

" Por favor mi amor, eat something" Diane begged and I shook my head.

I was sitting by Zayn whose face was still the same. I was silently sobbing by him,refusing to eat or do anything.

Grandma Nelly came in just then and dropped the food in front of me.
" Please eat, darling" I nodded and began to eat.

A few minutes later,they left to go sit outside whilst I stayed by Zayn.

" What will I do to make you wake up"  I whispered.

My voice wasn't all that good but I decided to sing for him.

What if I told you I like you!

Halfway through the song I could feel him flinch.i began to smile

Zayn's Pov

" Do you love me" Rachael asked me for the tenth time and I smiled at her.

" Yes I do"

" You will never leave me no matter what happens?"

" Yes,baby I will never leave you,I will always fight to come back to you"

That was us after our big fight. We were at Ruben Haven cuddling by the water.

She leaned in and kissed me. Sucking on her bottom lip,she moaned lightly and I smiled at her.

She was so beautiful,and I would make sure that I keep my promise to her.

Present

The place was dark and void.  I tried talking but I couldn't. My lips were sealed together. My legs were tied together so couldn't move. Where was i?.

A faint voice like someone singing came through. I tried moving with pain to follow the sound..

I moved on till I reached a place where there was light.

Zayn!

Zayn!

I opened my eyes. Rachael was sitting there singing. Her voice was so angelic. I smiled lightly at her. Finally I had met her in heaven.

" Rachael???" I called out and she stopped abruptly,she moved up a bit and smiled at me.

" So you also died????" I asked. She covered her mouth to prevent a giggle whilst tears flowed out of her eyes.

" You're awake,Zayn you're not dead,I'm alive too" she said and placed her head on my chest.

" I kept my promise to you"

" Yes you did"

" I guess,I just couldn't let go"

I fell asleep again.

So Zayn is alive
