Percy ~ Am I going crazy?

So, As you can Imagine, I used the mist to cover almost all of my scars, since Adam was getting suspicious of them.

I don't even know how did he finished that fast, that he still had the time to look at me while changing. It was weird.

Anyways. P.E class went... how can I explain it.
Let's say it was interesting...

Jane was always looking suspiciously at me. But she wasn't the only one. Because Adam, Emma and Sam where too.

Also, The fact that after class everyone was all sweaty and tired except for me, didn't help with the situation.

As you know, I can decide if I get wet or not, and sometimes I unconsciously decide to stay dry. That had been one of those times.
And let me tell you that I tried to correct my mistake by making me a little sweaty but it was too late...

Adam and Jane asked me about the change and I didn't knew how to answer them, so I did the only thing that I could think in time.

From a second to another, some of the nearest bathrooms exploded magically and  it was the perfect excuse to not answer their question.

And I know there were better ways to deal with the problem but It was the first thing that came into my mind so...

After the little incident was solved, we all went to the next class and continued with the day.

And here I was,  eating outside school, avoiding my friends. Something that I have been doing a lot since I came back.

I was eating a slide of pizza when I heard a voice I knew to well. Better than I would like to admit.

— Perseus Jackson. We have the pleasure to meet again!— said Kelly the Empousa grinning at me.

At this I turned around to face her.

She was exactly as I remembered... last time I saw her we were in... No.
I shook my head trying to avoid the thoughts of that place.

— Yeah. Aren't you tired of being killed? This must be your... What?
Second time this year?  — I teased her and her smile grew ...

Then, something distracted me for a few seconds. I heard a gasp behind me and turned to see Adam and Sam looking with wide eyes at us.

They needed to leave! They couldn't see what was about to happen!

So With my eyes I told them to go away and apparently Sam understood because she took Adam by the arm and took him away.

I sighed in relief and turned to face Kelly again.

I noticed that she was closer now, looking at me curiously.

— Yeah. I remember our last encounter... — she started.

— If it wasn't for that stupid Titan you wouldn't have survived to Tartarus. — She stated and looked pleased at my reaction.

Tartarus. At the mention of that place my heart started to beat faster and many memories started to pop into my mind.

Although, she wasn't finished.

— I was ready to kill you at any moment... so sad that I needed to wait a little more! — she said with a fake voice — Oh! But Im not stupid! I heard what you did to the poor Misery ... The great Perseus Jackson... The sea Spawn turned into a monster himself! That actually surprised me if I'm honest! — She finished satisfied whit her words.

I simply backed off. I- I couldn't take it all. All the memories... all the feelings...

— No. Im not a monster — I mumbled more to myself than her. Now I was shaking slightly and my breath was becoming heavier.

— Yes you are... you are no better than us. — She replied , walking slowly at me —. But anyway, I'm here to kill you and take revenge of all the monsters you have killed, Perseus. And you know they aren't just a few.

My mind was going crazy. Everything I saw were just a few flashes and colors. My head was hurting a lot and I seemed to be dizzying.

In that moment, all I wanted was to have at least a second where I didn't think of that place!

I wanted to just run and hide where no one could find me. I needed some rest... I felt tired. And couldn't keep her words out of my mind...

They were repeating like if they were some kind of echo.

— You are not better than us.
— You are a monster.

I shook my head trying to take them out of my head.

— Is little Perseus having trouble?!  Doesn't he accept that he's become the monster he was so afraid of? — she teased and this time some strange force came to me and an image of Annabeth filled my mind . A bit of  Hope returning to me.

I couldn't give up. No. I needed to fight her! For Annabeth... I couldn't die just because a  monster was messing with my mind!

I was strong!

So I slowly looked up ready to face her, Taking Riptide and holding it tightly.

— Yeah. Let's see who's the one having trouble! — I mumbled and charged directly at her.

And just when I was about to stab her, somehow Kelly disappeared and instead of her I was facing Jane...
