Jane~ Truth or dare, things go wrong

Jane's Pov

We were all sitting in the floor, waiting for Percy, Annabeth and Allison to arrive. I had offered myself to go and get them but like always, Allison insisted until she annoyed me and I surrendered.

It had almost been 5 minutes and my patience was running out.

— Have you seen them? — I asked Emma, who was sitting beside me —, Because I haven't...
— Maybe they went to make out somewhere more private — She suggested smiling mischievously—, If that's the case, I wouldn't interrupt them. They're too cute.
— You're always thinking about that — I groaned and hoped that she didn't notice how red my cheeks were. Before she could reply, the three arrived. Percy and Annabeth automatically scanned the place. When Percy spotted me, he smiled and hurried to sit next to me with Annabeth.

— So now that we're all here — Allison started —, Let's explain the rules, so no one complains later like a baby.

I caught Percy glancing at Neil, who looked suspicious. Was he planning something?

— Ok, let's clear something first. If you accept to play, there's no going back — we all nodded —, Everyone will have a turn.

— If you choose dare, you'll have to perform it in our presence — Allison continued—, If you choose truth you'll have to answer truthfully. We all have one opportunity to ditch one dare or one truth, and ask for another thing. Use it wisely.

— Is everything clear? — She asked and all of us nodded. Although I could see the doubt in some faces. Allison's smile got bigger —, Alright, let's start. Where's the bottle?
— Here — Neil set an empty bottle in the middle of the circle and spun it.

After a few seconds the bottle stopped spinning.

— Daniel asks Sam — Allison announced.

— Alright Sam — Daniel, a guy with brown hair and tan skin talked —, Truth or dare.

— Dare — Sam said without a second thought. She was a dare girl.

— Great — Daniel took his time to think—, Give a foot massage to the person on your right.
— Really? — Sam looked at her right and saw Neil smiling at her. She almost puked —, That's gross. He is gross.
— Hey — Neil exclaimed —, I know you secretly want me.
— You wished piece of sh
— Sam — Adam interrupted her and she sighed.
— Alright — She finally said and Neil kicked one of his shoes so  Sam could start with the dare. By the way her brows were clenched I could say she was really disgusted.
Percy and I laughed.

— Alright — Allison spun the bottle —, Next.
— Look what we got here! — She exclaimed, smiling widely—, Charlie asks Annabeth. This might be interesting.
— Truth or dare Annie — Charles grinned and I looked up to see Annabeth's face boiling.
— Don't you ever call me Annie again or you'll suffer the same fate as your best friend — She said and Charlie's smile faded as he remembered how Annabeth kicked Neil's ass.
— Ok — He swallowed. I had to accept that Annabeth was scary—, So, truth or dare...
— Truth — Annabeth said immediately.
— Are you a virgin? — He asked and I could hear some gasps. Was that the only thing he could think about?
Annabeth bit her lip.
— Yes — she said and I could feel how unconscious she was, just like all our friend group — I am a virgin.
— Awww you're adorable — Allison scoffed at her and then turned to Percy —, I'm impressed though. I thought you two were closer.
— Can you just shut up an mind your own business— Sam exclaimed and I laughed.

The next rounds went by and some people kissed each other, some revealed their deepest secrets, not that I cared, and others did stupid dares.

— Next round — Allison spun the bottle and It turned out to be Allison's time to ask Percy.
<<Oh no>> I thought <<This is not going to end well>>
— Truth or dare Percy — Allison demanded.
— Dare — Percy answered, sure of himself...
Allison grinned.
— I dare you — she started —, To remove four peaces of clothing.
Percy paled and turned to Annabeth.
— You can take out your socks and the hoodie... — I could hear her whispering —, But there'd be something else left...
— Come on — Allison urged him —, Is not that hard. And I bet that every single girl in here wants to see you without a shirt on. Unless you have something to hide there'd be no problem...
— pass — Percy said and I could see the disappointment in some of the girl's eyes—, I'll choose truth instead.

A few weeks ago, I would've suspected of his strange behavior, but now I understood him. He had battle scars. He couldn't risk someone seeing them. They'd have too many questions.

Upon hearing Percy's answer, Allison pouted and thought for a second before leaning on Neil and whispering something to him.

Finally they separated and Allison smiled.

— What's your biggest fear Percy? — She asked —, Because I'm sure someone as mysterious as you has a really interesting fear.
If that could be possible. Percy paled even more.
<<Shit>>
— Hmmm — he mumbled and swallowed—, I don't know...
— You can't ignore this one. You already used your salvation card.
I eyed Annabeth and to my surprise she was as curious as everyone else. Didn't she know?
— Alright— Percy looked at his hands —, I guess my biggest fear is myself.

We all went silent. Except for Neil and Charles, who giggled.
— That doesn't count! — Allison demanded but Annabeth gave her a glare that made her froze in place and shut up —, Ok. If you say so. I thought it would be something more spicy. Or scary.

No one said anything.

— Final round — Allison said after a while. The bottle pointed Sam and me — Sam asks Jane.
She smiled widely and I suddenly felt nervous.
— Truth or dare Jane.
— Dare— I said, trusting my gut.
Sam whispered something to Adam. He nodded.
— Alright Jane — She said mischievously—, If your crush is here, I dare you to kiss them.
My cheeks burned and my heart started to beat faster than never before. I was about to choose truth instead bit my heart told me otherwise.
<<Do it now or never>>

I turned to Emma and hoping she felt the same for me, I leaned on and kissed her.

Jane finally got to confess her feelings for Emma! Do you think she'll answer back?

I hope so. Otherwise, poor Jane.

Also, Percy and Annabeth will face a lot of trouble in the next chapters :)
