She was tired and under the sedatives but yet was able to get back to her room and take rest.

Even though her back hurted really badly to her she tried to have a smile so that Neela does not panic . Little did she knew that she is her mother and had all the ideas of her daughter.

As all had not yet came and texted Neela that they will be back in next half an hour , she thanked the stars as she too was terrified even tough she was trying to play it cool.

Neela- you rest , Neil is there . I will go change and get you something to ease the pain(in a calm way)

Avni-(smiling) you sleep , I am good now plus that doctor too gave me sedatives right?

Neil-you go aunty . I am there and come , I know that you cannot stay away from her. If you need anything I can also come with you( looking at her blank face)

Neela- (smiles shortly) no.. I will manage just be there warna ye pakka kuch ulta karegi.

Neil-(nods) hnm!

Once she went Avni looked at him first

Avni- you go and take sleep I can manage. Plus that doctor had already given me heavy dosages only he knows why??(and tried to move).... ahhh!!

Neil went to her and helped her support.

Neil-( in calm manner) I may not be strong like you but I am sensible enough,even a small kid is that the wounded area is to be kept still and not moved. Seat properly and stop moving or else the bangades would slip and the wounds would get stretched.

Avni-(giving a tight smile) maybe but I need to make a call to police station to have a check of the goons who came there, I am sure that was ultimately for me only.

Neil-(even tough shocked) if you knew this then  why did you risked taking everyone out and on top being alone, if at all we were not on time you would have been badly injured then you already are.

Avni-(smiles) can't stop living if we see the shadows right? That is what happened , I knew but probably this is the last time for me before going on a mission from tomorrow. I get to be that shelfish as I can be this greedy for my family moments.

Neil-(smiles) well that cannot be greed but yes you are shelfish that is why you still have not yet disclosed this to your family and I know you have your reasons but still I would prefer you personally informing rather than they getting to know from aunty. This doesn't suit you.

she was shocked at the confession and ultimately smiled as well.

Avni-( a smile on her face) can you promise me one thing??

Neil-(shocked and smirked) well ! not that all day an ACP asks for favours, let me think on it.... to accept or to reject.

Gone was all the smile and now was back the irritated face.

Avni - it seems you are not used to getting this soft side of me , I will have to be myself to get you back on track!

With that he burst in laughing while Avni too was confused first but seeing him laugh like this she too had a gentle smile.

Neil- tell iske pehle mein photo frame me aau,you tell me kya chahiye. And please haa I am not Ali so don't put in delimma okay. Bichaara always gets trapped.

Avni-(with irritated face) that is for Ali and me to decide but for you , please do take of family as now they are yours too and I will be away and that would get them worried but still you can try to get them out. Fill them with so much happiness that they forget the point that I am missing.
