Chapter 48

"Vampires!" The villager shouted which warned the other people to get in their positions. Sachie only watched the vampires and glared at them
Just why are they here? They're around our age...they aren't full adults...I think
"Get her!" One of the vampires said. Sachie only glared at the group of vampires before the guards appeared attacking the younger vampires
"We don't want to fight. Please just stand by" One of the guards said as they held their weapons
"You fools...should just get out of our way" The girl hissed before she spread her arms releasing sharp metal knives that pierced right through their armour
"Agh!"
"Ah!"
The two other vampires instantly attacked the villagers as they stabbed their backs. The guards rushed towards the vampires to defend their people
"Everyone! Get away!" The guard ordered as they tried blocking the vampire's attacks
"Stay out of our damn way" The boy said as he raised his hand and shot out a few red whips from his palm that wrapped around the guards crushing their bones. The guards coughed blood as their bodies got crushed and the group of vampires began to break through the guards
"These assholes are so easy to defeat" The girl giggled
"We'll definitely be able to handle this" The boy said. Soon a Black Knight appeared as Mitsuko swung her sword activating a shockwave that paralyzed some of the vampire's body parts
"Get her!" The girl ordered and the three vampires broke free from the paralysis then tried aiming at Mitsuko but their attack was interrupted by Sachie who kicked them
"Don't you dare...hurt my mother!" Sachie growled and glared at the small group with her cold eyes
"Shit...she's tough" The guy said as he groaned
"She was right..." The girl said
"Sachie, stay back" Mitsuko said
"No! I can fight them off!" Sachie said as her eyes glowed and soon attacked the group knocking them down
"Try and hold her!" The girl ordered and the guy attacked her using his red whips that wrapped around her arm
"Sachie!" Mitsuko said and wrapped an arm around her before cutting the whip which released Sachie
"You need to let me handle this" Mitsuko said
"No!" Sachie said as her right eye glowed then flew upwards towards them
"Sachie! Wait!" Mitsuko said. Sachie only raised her left hand before releasing a strong magic that trapped the vampires in a group
"Asuka!" Sachie shouted. Mitsuko saw a flash pass by her as Asuka sprinted towards the vampires then out came her claws as she sliced right through them giving them a major wound
"Urgh! Damn you!" The boy shouted before trying to attack her but his attack was deflected
"What the-aaah!" The boy coughed blood as Asuka cut right through him
"Get away from him!" The girl hissed along with another masked girl as they tried attacking Asuka but soon Sachie pulled her upwards with her shadows
"Hey! Let us have some fun too!" Miyu said before setting her hands on flames and blasted them but they dodged the massive fire
"Watch it dumbass! You'll burn the village!" Koharu said
"Should we try and capture them?" Ema asked
"Leave that to me!" Hina said as she rushed towards the group and started to split herself up having a few clones beside her
"Fuck! Should we leave?" The other guy said
"We can't! We were trained for this!" The girl growled and ran up to Hina's clones before attacking them with her sharp metal wings
"Missed me!" Hina said as she flew above her
"Damn you!" The girl growled as she tried to aim at her but the attack was deflected once again by a shield
"Freeze them!" Sachie said as she was still floating above them. Suddenly a freezing cold breeze pushed the vampires away as Fuyuhime stepped on the ground
"Oh my...what do we have here?" Fuyuhime asked as she giggled softly and her eyes glowed then stomped the ground releasing a powerful ice attack the froze some of the vampires
"Gaaah! It burns like hell!" The vampire exclaimed
"Break it!" The other vampire said before breaking the ice but felt a painful burn on her arm
"Fuck!" The girl exclaimed as Miyagi attacked her and Yua snapped her fingers creating a barrier that kept the vampires in a group
"Ugh! Let us go!" The vampire hissed
"Not until you explain what the hell you guys are doing here" Miyu said
"What's with the sudden attack?" Asuka asked
"Like we'll ever tell" The girl said
"Why not burn them into ashes?" Koharu asked
"Enough. You girls shouldn't interfere" Mitsuko said as she walked up to the group of kids
"Auntie Mitsuko...we defeated them. We should just beat them up right here right now" Miyu said
"I like that idea" Hina said
"No. Now please explain yourselves" Mitsuko said as she glared at the young group of course but they didn't respond. Sachie only stared at them and kicked the girl's head
"Sachie!" Mitsuko said as she grabbed her
"We came because we had to get you...." The girl said
"Why?" Sachie asked
"...that I cannot say" The girl said
"Our Master saved us...and we're here to serve him" The boy said
"Who the hell is this Master of yours?" Asuka asked
"Like we'll ever say anything..." The girl said
"We just want to be friends. I mean you're corrupted right? And we're also corrupted as well" Ema said
"And we ca-"
"Shut. Up" The girl said coldly making the girls flinch
"Then...we should just keep them in the dungeon" Sachie said
"It seems like it" Asuka said and looked up at her mother
"We'll have to keep them there and I'll speak with your mother about this" Mitsuko said and soon the guards came in as they took the group of vampires away heading towards the dungeons
"Shouldn't we have killed them?" Sachie asked
"Sachie...we shouldn't kill them" Mitsuko said
"But look what they did..." Sachie said
"They're just like you and your friends... they're children who don't know what they're doing. If they said something about a Master then I believe they were trained to behave that way. Next time when I tell you to stay away. You stay away" Mitsuko said
"I was helping!" Sachie said as she raised her voice
"Sachie...they were after you" Mitsuko said
"So? Let them come at me. I'll fucking kill them!" Sachie said as her right eye began to glow feeling her anger build up. Mitsuko only hugged Sachie and held her closely. Sachie trembled a bit and clenched her fists tightly
"...I...I was helping because I was worried..." Sachie mumbled
"I know...but still...I was worried about you" Mitsuko said
"...I know...and sorry for bursting out like that..." Sachie said. Mitsuko ruffled her hair and smiled softly
"You were pretty great out there..." Mitsuko said
"Mm..." Sachie nodded
"Hey! What about me? I kicked some ass too!" Asuka said as she hugged her mom
"Yes you too. And please don't use that language" Mitsuko said as she patted her head softly
"Okay" Asuka said

After the fight, Matsuri was informed and returned back to the castle to deal with the situation
"There have been attacks. We've lost a few of our people and some are severely injured" The guard said. Matsuri sighed deeply and stared at the map they had in front of them
"Then we must scout the area and try to search for this little organization" Matsuri said
"Should I get the guards?" He asked
"Go get our team ready. Contact the Aihara and Momokino kingdom to send in a few of their guards to our place" Matsuri said
"I understand" The guard said as he bowed down and left the castle
"Maruta, you will be joining me in this fight along with Nitski and Juhin" Matsuri said as she turned to look at Maruta
"It would be an honor" Maruta said as she bowed down
"Get your people and tell them to get ready. We will be leaving when the sun sets" Matsuri said
"Of course" Maruta said and left
"Wait what about us?" Yuzu asked
"You guys stay here and keep an eye out on the Kingdoms. Just in case some others would like to attack" Matsuri said
"Alright. We go it" Shai said
"Good. Now if you'll excuse me. I must pack a few resources" Matsuri said
"Wait how long will it take?" Nitski asked
"About a day and a half probably. It's best if we don't use our strength...because when the time comes...we'll be ready to face them" Matsuri said
"Ugh...I hate these kind of things" Nitski groaned softly
"Well...let's start packing" Juhin said as he walked away with his sister. Matsuri went back to her office but saw Mitsuko
"Do you really have to go?" Mitsuko asked
"I have to. Those children seemed forced to do it. I had a bad feeling about human and vampire relationships. I bet these people discovered the power hidden in a corrupted child" Matsuri said
"But do you have to go on your own? I can come along" Mitsuko said
"Mitsuko you need to stay here. You must protect them. I'll go out with the others and return. Don't worry...I will come back. Besides I won't be completely alone" Matsuri said as she cupped both her cheeks and pulled her close kissing her softly. Mitsuko kissed her back softly and held her closely
This feels...just like back then... whenever she left to go training
"I love you so much Mitsuko" Matsuri said as she smiled softly. Mitsuko smiled a bit and nodded
"I love you too Matsuri" Mitsuko said. Matsuri pulled away and noticed her two girls. She gave them a soft smile and walked up to them
"You will come back right?" Asuka asked. Matsuri smiled and ruffled her hair softly
"Of course I'll come back. I promise. Now I need you two to listen carefully. Protect one another and fight back. We're not sure if something like that will happen again but don't be scared. As long as you two protect each other and other. Everything will be okay. Your mother might need a little help" Matsuri said whispering the last part
"So I get to kick their ass?" Asuka asked
"Definitely" Matsuri said as she smiled. Sachie trembled a little and grabbed her arm
"Hm? Sachie?" Matsuri asked
"I...I want to go" Sachie said. Matsuri smiled and hugged Sachie
"Sachie...you need to stay here" Matsuri said
"B-but I can fight back! You saw me! I can help you!" Sachie said as she began to tear up and Matsuri only wiped her tear away
"Sachie...they need you here to protect them. Your family and friends are here..." Matsuri said
"But what if you get hurt?" Sachie asked as she trembled. Matsuri ruffled her hair and kissed her forehead
"I'll be okay. I know you're worried but your mother is strong. She'll be able to take care of them" Matsuri said as she gave her a smile. Sachie only clenched her fists tightly and nodded
"...okay" Sachie said. Matsuri hugged both her daughters and messed with their hair
"You two are strong. I know you two will be able to protect the Kingdom" Matsuri said
"I won't let those fuckers get in next time" Asuka said
"I love you both" Matsuri said
"We love you too Mom" Asuka said
"Mm...I love you too" Sachie said
"Now I better start packing up a few things..." Matsuri said as she started walking away heading out the castle. Sachie looked down and felt a touch as Mitsuko touched her shoulder
"Your mother will be okay. She's the strongest person I know. She'll be back home soon. You just have to believe and stay positive" Mitsuko said. Sachie only nodded and hugged her mother. Mitsuko seemed surprised for a moment but hugged her back to comfort her
"It's just...mom... doesn't care if she starts bleeding. She loses...lots of blood...and still fights" Sachie said
"Yes...your mother can be a bit careless and fights until her opponent loses not caring about her own injuries. I know how that feels..." Mitsuko said
"...I just want her to be careful" Sachie said
"It'll be okay. Just trust her. She'll be back soon" Mitsuko said
"That's why I want to fight like you. Because you beat the shit out of them without getting hurt" Asuka said
"Not all the time. Now let's go and get something to eat...before they go" Mitsuko said
