The Unfortunate Goodbye

3rd person POV...

As the explosions started to subside and the king was still nowhere to be found Berdos had to hold his own until his return. "Bang Bang" the doors began to shake as a couple of Axellions tried to break down Queen Amelia's room doors.

As the twin 3-week old baby girls began to get fussy due to the loud ruckus that interrupted their slumber Berdos currently felt useless for he felt like he couldn't do anything. "Are you almost done?" he yelled from across the room to the old witch Guivera, who was currently healing Amelia's wounds.

" I'm going as fast as I can but whatever that guy shot Amelia with is invading her immune system, not even her healing abilities are working so I'm doing the best I can," Guivera stated in a quite annoyed tone.

As the doors continued to bang louder and louder with each passing second the men causing all the commotion began to grow impatient. "Eventually this door is coming down so you either open these doors, give us the children of prophecy or you die at a futile attempt to protect them...your choice."

Berdos trying his best to calm the twins down explained," That's not happening we would rather die fighting your boss for these children than let you take them away." Berdos stated secretly hoping they wouldn't take him up on his offer.

"Ha if not even your precious Queen stood a chance against lord Klaus what makes you think you do." One of the men yelled from behind the door rather confidently.

"Klaus so that's the guy with silver hair and red eyes name. Wait but if that's king James's brother how is he still alive? I thought he died in the civil war that the axellions had years ago." Berdos thought to himself.

"Guivera I'm gonna have to hold them back myself just keep healing lady Amelia," Berdos stated with a shaky voice as his eyes started to glow a bright orange. He lifted his right hand to face the door preparing to battle the remaining Axellions, but before he could begin to use his fire ability the Axellions were no longer laughing and trying to break the door down. "No...h...how did you get past lord Klaus...It isn't possible!" One of the Axellions screamed from outside.

"So Klaus is now the King of planet axel. I wish I would've known that before I ended him...not that it would've made a difference he signed his death certificate the moment he laid his hands on my wife." James exclaimed with venom in his tone.

The Axellions charged at him throwing punch after punch, kick after kick, blast after blast, but it was no use James was dodging all of their physical attacks and absorbed every one of their energy blasts.

" Humph...Pathetic" He stated monotonously with a smirk on his face. "You Axellions are gonna wish you never stepped foot on our planet," James explained with confidence as he slowly began to lift the Axellions off of the ground. The Axellions, unable to move a muscle, shaken with fear as metal began to swirl around them.

" You can thank Klaus for this trick...It's the same one he used against Amelia, I don't know much about it all I know is that it paralyzes you from mid-air and takes your power temporarily." James explained once again with great confidence as the energy blast that he absorbed earlier combined with the metal, encircled the Axellion men.

" Wait please...don't I beg of you spare us." the Axellions screamed with fear as James replied, " I don't know what my Big brother told you but I don't show mercy to my enemies." He then proceeded to impale each and every one of them without the slightest hesitation.

When it was finally over King James began to breathe heavily as that was the last of his energy drained. He punched the doors to his and Amelia's chambers causing them to shatter into pieces as if they were made out of the most delicate glass in the world.
