3rd person POV
As Nadia walked out of her small apartment she looked at the time realizing it was already 1:47 pm " Oh shoot I only have 13 minutes." She thought to herself as she quickly ran down the stairs and out of the building. She then rushed to the park to meet up with the mystery boy known as Ethan.
Nadia's POV
It would suck if this all turned out to be some sick prank, but I don't see why it would be I mean we both saw that memory of his, I saw him get emotional and his expression was just too genuine to be a joke plus there's just something about him that makes me feel like I should give him a chance to explain himself.
UGH what is wrong with me, I have been able to avoid people for 16 years so why am I feeling like this now. Maybe this was a mistake maybe I should leave while I still can. Just before I was about to leave sure enough I saw a tall brunet with blue eyes headed my way carrying a huge ancient-looking book.
But as he got closer I could tell that he looked almost worried about something as if he was carrying a huge burden on his shoulder. His expression instantly changed when he saw me he now seemed almost relieved. "You showed up, so does that mean you believe me?" he asked a little too hasty.
" Um, not so fast mister I'm gonna need more info about these "Ashronians" or whatever you call them before I decide whether or not I believe you. "Huh...typical," he said with an irritated tone. "Um, what's that supposed to mean?" I asked a little annoyed by his impatience. "I just mean that your a princess so it's only instinctive to act all bratty." He stated in a mocking tone.
" EXCUSE ME first of all I didn't even know I was a Princess till a few days ago second off you were the one who practically begged me to meet you here REMEMBER."
Out of nowhere, Ethan started laughing as a smirk grew on his face, while I had the most confused expression on my face. "What are you laughing at!?!" I asked now officially irritated. He then responded with confidence, " You just admitted that you are a princess...so you do believe me." He stated as if he caught me with my hand in the cookie jar or something.
I mean who does this guy think he is. I will admit one thing he is pretty confident not to mention sneaky too. I was interrupted by Ethan who finally stopped laughing he then stated," Ok sorry it's just nice to know that you don't think I'm crazy or something." " Well, I did at first," I stated as if by instinct.
"Oh ok...I'm sorry say what now?!?" Ethan stated just barely getting the last part of my sentence. "I'm kidding...well sort of," I stated, hoping he didn't catch the last part. "Oh great," Ethan stated sarcastically. "Anyways onto the reason that you're here." Ethan stated as he pulled the ancient book from underneath his arm that had 2 words with beautiful cursive on the cover of it that reads "Ashronian History." We both took a seat at a nearby bench as he opened the book and began to explain, from the beginning, our culture and where I really come from.
" Ok, so you and I come from a planet called Ashron where the sky was pink and their animals were mixes of each other but other than that it was pretty much like earth the atmosphere was the same but our temperatures were different and our gravity was also different. Our gravity there was a lot stronger than the gravity here on earth, which means that you and I actually have the ability to fly if we really try. Anyway, most Ashronians are born with some sort of ability from the moment they are born. When Ashronians are born our eyes glow a certain color or aura that will give the fortune tellers or witches the ability to see their future.
We Ashronians were also big on prophecies because each one came true and no matter how hard anyone tries to change it things would always turn out the way the prophecy states. This brings me to the next part, our planet has always been run through a monarchy.
