Nadias POV...
Ever since I was little I've felt like there was more to me than meets the eye. I've always hoped there was more to me than some worthless orphan girl that does more than just brew a couple of cups of coffee to pay for the rent of her tiny apartment.
Or maybe I just wanted to find any excuse to be worth something. I don't know anything about my birth parents all I have is a necklace with two black and blue beads in the middle of it. I was found in a field with nothing but this necklace and a dirty blanket with the name Nadia on it, or at least that's what the orphanage told me.
I grew up in this old tiny orphanage that didn't get many visitors. By the time someone came to the orphanage to adopt someone I was already 9 years old aka "too old". By that time no one wanted me because I was close to becoming a preteen which they considered a problem child's age. I decided to leave the orphanage once I turned 15 well actually I ran away.
I just couldn't stand it there, they were always calling me worthless, disgusting, and basically any other insult that exists, as it is I feel worthless so the last thing I need is being told that everything those nuns told me was true, so I left to try and find a more positive environment or at least attempt at being positive.
The problem is for as long as I can remember I've tried not to bring any attention to myself or tried making any friends I've put up a wall to shield myself from the cruelty of reality. So here I am now an 18-year-old antisocial barista making minimum wage just to pay her rent for her crappy ass apartment. I guess you could say I'm "living the dream."

It was now 8:00 pm and Nadia was the only one working due to her having to close up the shop. All she had to do was finish making the last cup of coffee for a Brunnett boy with blue eyes who seemed to be the same age as her.
Once she was done making his coffee she told him his total and began to give it to him just as he was reaching for his cup their fingers touched and a flash of white appeared as Nadia's eyes changed into the same color as the flash.
Nadia began to see memories that were stored away but they weren't hers "Are these the boy's memories?" She asked herself before she got interrupted by someone in the memories crying talking to the boy.
"My sweet baby Ethan ill always look after you no matter where you are. You are the only one capable of keeping our planet's history intact. We named you Ethan because it means warrior because you are our people's last warrior."
The mystery woman who Nadia could only assume was the boy Ethan's mother cried as she began to slowly put a large/thick book inside the boy's blanket that had the name Ethan written on it. The boy appeared to be in what appeared to look like a space shuttle a rather small one.
" Hurry the king and queen will be here any minute." A tall man who Nadia concluded was Ethan's father said frantically as both of Ethan's parents began to put in the coordinates to earth and waved goodbye to their only child as the shuttle left their view. The white vision once again appeared before Nadia was brought back to reality the dizziness making her lose grip of the cup as it crashed into the floor.
Nadias POV
As I began to gain my vision back I slowly looked at the boy named Ethan who appeared to be in just as much shock as me. No way did he see the same thing I did those memories, they must have been his, hidden away deep in his sub-conscience, but how could I have seen them what is he, what am I? I was brought out of my internal thinking by Ethan who finally decided to break the silence. "H...how did you do that, no way are you an Ashronian?" Ethan stated with a tear in his eyes no doubt from the memory he saw just moments ago.
Although he had been crying he appeared to have hope in his eyes as if I told him he won the lottery or something. And what the heck is an Ashronian, is he delusional or something. Finally deciding to speak I asked hesitantly, "W...What's an Ashronian?" He seemed genuinely confused and taken back by my question.
It's an almost extinct race from the planet Ashron where the people who lived there had many different types of abilities like fortune-telling, elemental bending, super speed, power absorption, and soo many other abilities. The race is almost extinct I thought I was the last one at least until I met you today." He explained confidently.
"It's official he's crazy." I thought to myself trying really hard not to laugh but before I knew it I started laughing like a madman once again causing the boy called Ethan to look utterly confused. "I'm...Soo...sorry... it's just you really couldn't expect me to believe that you and I come from a different planet I mean it's ridiculous." I stated as I started to slowly stand back causing my necklace to come out from underneath my shirt.
The boy glanced at my necklace and his face instantly changed from confusion to shock in less than a second. "N...No way...There's no way...You...can't be...you were supposed to be dead...with all the other Ashronians." He explained with an I've just seen a ghost expression.
"Um, Rude much," I stated no longer buying his stupid fairytale fantasy I mean not that I ever bought it but still. Once again being interrupted by my internal thoughts by Ethan who tried to explain his reaction as best as possible.
" I'm sorry it's just that the necklace you're wearing belongs to the Ashronian princess who died 16 years ago with her parents and sister and the rest of the Ashronian race. But if you're wearing that necklace then that means...your princess Nadia!" He stated with joy.
" NO STOP IT, I DONT WANT TO HEAR ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR DUMB LIES IT'S JUST A COINCIDENCE IM NOTHING BUT A WORTHLESS BARISTA YOU HEAR ME!" I yelled harsher than I intended.
But instead of being offended, he came closer with a soft smile, " Meet me at the park across the street in 3 days at 2:00 Pm, ill explain everything to you then, just promise me you'll show up." He stated frantically.
After hearing no response he yelled frantically," PROMISE ME!" Not knowing what else to say I hesitated, " O..OK fine I promise." After that, the boy ran off without another word, leaving me there speechless.
3rd person POV
Nadia now thinking to herself whether or not she should really meet Ethan at the park as she started to clean up the mess she caused. " He seemed pretty serious if this was a prank wouldn't he have said that it was by now?" Nadias thought to herself.
"But if he wasn't lying that means that I really am a princess and that my family that I never knew I had...Is dead." " UGH what should I do?" Nadia said out loud.
Meanwhile, the mystery boy known as Ethan was rushing to his home opening the door and greeting the two people who he grew to recognize as his mother and father, he rushed upstairs as he started to frown. "I know your not my birth parents but You raised me, cared for me, and loved me even after knowing that I didn't come from this planet.
So to me, you are and always will be my mom and dad, Thank you." Ethan thought to himself as he rushed to his room and looked for the book that was in the same shuttle as him when he traveled to earth.
After finally finding the book he swiped off the dust from the book and read the letters on the cover that read, "Ashronian history." Ethan now happy that he found the book began to slowly frown after remembering the memories of his birth parents.
"Goddammit why?" He asked himself as he continued, " Why did you have to be soo god damn stupid why couldn't you both just be selfish and take the last pods for yourself?" Ethan said as he fell to his knees slamming his fists on his bedroom flooring with tears falling down his face. "Why would you put soo much pressure on me I'm no hero, I'm nothing but an Ashronian historian how can you expect me to save our race why not give that responsibility to the princesses.
If Nadias alive that means so is Lilith and if that's true then the prophecy is coming true and Lilith really is Evil." Ethan stated frustrated.
He then continued with newfound inspiration, " Then if that's true ill do everything in my power to make sure Nadia stays on the good side and defeats her sister no matter the cost."
