Ainsley sat in front of the desk of her boss's office. It was a small room cluttered with papers and boxes. It barely had room for the two of them and Ainsley thanked everything that she wasn't claustrophobic. "Ainsley, I can't give you a month off." Her boss said, shaking his head.

Ainsley knew her boss very well. He tried to be a hard ass, but it wouldn't be hard to break him down. She just has to be willing to follow through. She looked down on her lap. "Oh..." Ainsley let out a deep breath, taking a piece of paper out of her purse and setting it on the desk.

Her boss looked at the table. "You're quitting?" He asked with a shocked tone in his voice.

Ainsley nodded. "I'm going on the trip. I don't want to, but if you aren't going to give me another option, I don't have any other choice."

"You could not go." Her boss suggested.

"I'm going."

"But you don't have to."

"I'm going."

"You sure?"

"I'm positive."

"No chance it will get rescheduled?"

"I doubt it."

Her boss sighed. "I'll give you the time off." Her boss said handing back the paper.

Ainsley smiled, taking the piece of paper back. "I was hoping that you would say that." Ainsley stood up walking out of the office. She stepped out of the office and looked over to see Mika walk over to her. She let out a deep breath.

"Hey, I thought you didn't work today." Mika said.

"I don't. Can I talk to you? Are you on break?" Ainsley asked and Mika nodded.

"Yeah, I got five minutes left." Mika said and Ainsley walked with him out the back door to where her car was parked. "What did you want to talk about?"

Ainsley let out a deep breath looking over at Mika. "Well, you know how Katie tried to get that trip where you get to see a prince get coronated?" Ainsley asked nervously, rubbing her hands together.

"Yeah, I thought she didn't get it." Mika said and Ainsley nodded.

"She didn't but the person who did win is pregnant and can't fly. So she won and she wants me to go with her. So..." Ainsley trailed on and Mika let out a deep breath.

"So you're going on the trip." Mika finished for her looking away from Ainsley.

Ainsley nodded looking down. "Yes, i'm going on the trip and i'm going to be gone for a month."

Mika shook his head before looking back over at Ainsley as she looked up at him. "A month? You're going to just drop everything for a month. What about your job? Your apartment? Bills?"

"You think I need you to remind me about my own responsibilities?" Ainsley asked, not really needing an answer.

"You can't just drop everything. Ainsley, you're an adult."

Ainsley scoffed crossing her arms feeling the irritation rising inside of her. "Really? I didn't get that memo." Ainsley noted sarcastically.

Mika sighed. "Don't be like that. Okay, i'm sorry." Mika paused for a moment looking down at the ground. "You're trying to end things with me and I'm giving you reason to."

Ainsley sighed letting her arms fall to her sighed. "I just have some things that I need to figure out and that's what this month is about."

"You're coming back right?" Mika asked and Ainsley slightly smiled over at him.

"Of course. You really think i'm going to live in Cosna?" Ainsley asked and Mika slightly smiled at him. Mika took a step closer to her pressing his lips against hers. It was a kiss that could make her change her mind, if she didn't take money from her dad.

Ainsley walked out of her bedroom with her suitcase rolling behind her. She noticed Ian sitting on their couch with his feet up on the coffee table and a bag of chips in his lap. "Do you have everything?" Katie asked in a tone that told Ainsley she didn't have enough.

Ainsley sighed. "Yes, I'm positive I'm good. I'm sure they have people that do laundry in a castle." Ainsley pointed out looking over at Ian. "I do expect a bag of chips waiting for me in the cupboard when I come home."

"I'm doing this for free." Ian stated.

Katie nodded looking over at him. "Yes, you are and we love you for it." Katie added.

"Not that much." Ainsley scoffed and Katie looked over glaring at her.

"I'm a little curious." Ian said and both girls looked over at him. "How do you plan on making his Prince fall in love with you?"

"That is a great question." Ainsley stated with a smirk walking over to sit next to Ian putting her feet on the coffee table. "How are you going to get him to fall in love with you?"

"Well, aren't you two cute?" Katie asked, crossing her arms unamused by their behavior. "It's simple. First, I just need to seem irresistible. Seduce him into the bed and let my skills do the rest. Then I make his mother love me so much that she pressures him into marrying me. He goes for it because I already have him clouded in lust." Katie shrugged as if her plan was simple.

There was a moment of silence before Ian leaned over to Ainsley. "There are so many holes in that plan." Ian stated and Ainsley nodded.

"Trust me. It will work. I will fill in the holes once we get there." Katie shrugged her shoulders, taking Ainsley's bag over to the front door.

Ainsley looked over at Ian thinking about the idea of him being alone in her apartment. The place that held her undergarments. The idea made her want to throw up. "Stay out of my room." Ainsley demanded and Ian smirked at her.

"Why? You have things hiding under the bed?" Ian asked and Ainsley glared at him.

"Do you want me to punch you in the face?" Ainsley asked, making Ian laugh, shoving more chips in his face looking back at the cartoon playing on the tv. Ainsley shook her head looking at the tv as well.
