Ainsley stood in the back of the castle on the balcony watching Sienna and Blake shooting arrows at a target. They placed money down under a rock sitting on the edge of a bench that was placed on the side of the walkway. "Oh, no the jeans are back." Ainsley chuckled as Katie walked over standing next to her.
"Hey, I've had my legs exposed for long enough." Ainsley stated. "It'll probably be the last time I wear them here."
Katie looked at her confused. "Why?"
"It's the only jeans I have, and the look on Helga's face when she saw me, tells me she's going to make sure they disappear if she gets her hands on them." Ainsley rubbed her hands on her favorite jeans.
Katie chuckled looking over to Seinna and Blake. "What are they doing?" Katie asked.
Ainsley shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know."
"That is Sienna betting Blake in a shooting competition." They heard Richard's voice behind them as he walked past them and over to his siblings. Katie and Ainsley followed him over to them.
Blake looked back, noticing them walking over. "You wanna try?" Blake asked.
"I want to!" Katie said walking over to him.
Katie walked over taking the bow and arrow from Blake. Her form was rough, but she focused like she knew what she was doing. She focused for a moment before pointing the bow and shooting. She hit the edge of the target. Ainsley was impressed she hit the target at all. "Nice job." Blake said and Katie handed him the bow.
"When have you ever shot an arrow?" Ainsley asked and Katie looked back at her.
"I watch tv." Katie said, shrugging her shoulders.
"How does that even make sense?" Ainsley asked completely stunned.
"You wanna try Ainsley?" Blake asked and Ainsley scoffed, crossing her arms.
"Oh, me holding an arrow? That sounds like a recipe for disaster." Ainsley stated.
"Oh, you can't be that bad. Blake's that bad." Sienna said and Richard walked over taking the bow from his brother.
"I'm not bad." Blake told his sister and Sienna chuckled.
"I don't even know what I'm doing." Ainsley said and Richard looked over at her.
"Here, I'll help." Ainsley walked over to him taking the bow and an arrow from him. She stood turned to the side and he stood behind her. Ainsley could feel her heart pounding in her chest. "You knock it." Richard said instructing Ainsley how to put the arrow on the bow. "Feet aligned." Ainsley fixed the position of her feet. "Grip at about nose height." Richard moved the bow up. "Draw it back." Ainsley pulled back the bow staring at the target. "Elbow up." His hand lightly touched Ainstly's elbow moving it up. "Aim and fire."
Ainsley tried to focus, but the sound of someone clearing their throat, a giggle, and a whistle caught her off guard. She started turning to look at them. "Wha-" She felt her hand let go of the arrow. They all watched the arrow travel through the air cutting the head off a yard swan made out of bushes. They all paused for a moment in shock. "You should take this." Ainsley said, handing the bow over to Richard.
"I can do better than that." Blake scoffed.
"Oh yeah." Sienna nodded her head.
Ainsley backed up standing next to Katie. "It's okay. You tried." Katie patted her back and Ainsley glared at her.
"Yeah, no one can decapitate a lawn swan like you." Richard mocked with a smirk on his face.
"What are the chances I get to live that down?" Ainsley asked.
