i'll make this apology quick enough before we get to the actual last chapter.--- i'm sorry for not updating earlier today, i was quite busy with stupid online school. this is the last chapter, and i'll make book 2 maybe.. sept 18, or 19. it will be titled '親愛なる君へ' (translates to 'my dear')

book—, which will have a complete ending, that has the rest of the anime. (not the movie, however, because that would be way to long, because it takes place after greed island)

book 2, will include a tiny bit of the greed island ark, but the rest will be the chimera ant arc, and the chairman selection ark. anyways! enjoy!

y/n pov

killua had taken me up to see kurapika, the chain user. i wanted to talk to him, about why he killed uvogin. "hello, kurapika. i'm y/n. i'd like to talk to you about something." i said to kurapika, who was sitting up, in a bed. he looks ill..

"hello, y/n. i don't suppose i've met you before. have i?" kurapika asked. i nodded. "i'm one of gon and killua's friend. but back to the topic i'd like to speak to you about." i said, as i took a seat, in a chair next to the bed. kurapika tilted his head, meanwhile, killua left the room, to give us some space.

"why'd you kill uvogin?." i asked. i couldn't feel it at the time, but my e/c eyes had gone dull.

"who's uvogin, may i ask?" kurapika asked me. "the phantom troupe member that you killed." i replied. "long story short.. the phantom troupe had killed my clan, and took their eyes. i have a never-ending hatred towards them, for what they did. i guess you could say, i'm seeking revenge." kurapika said, in all seriousness. i had gone quiet for a bit after that. "..i'm sorry that we did that to you and your clan.." i mumbled, looking down. i can feel myself of the verge of tears.. stop. don't cry, y/n.

"hm?" kurapika asked.

"i'm sorry we did that to you." i said, looking up at kurapika with teary-eyes. "you're..one of them? but— the phantom troupe only has— had.. thirteen members." kurapika stuttered. "i'm sorry, this is a lot to put on your shoulders.. i can't imagine how you feel, your own friends with someone you hate deeply." i say.

kurapika pov

i could see y/n's eyes soften, i could tell that she didn't know, that the phantom troupe did that. she must've not been apart of the mission, or something like that. "i accept your apology." i say. "huh? kurapika, you mustn't forgive people that easily! i just told you that i'm supposed to be someone you hate!-" y/n said, as tears filled her eyes again. "you weren't apart of the mission, right? so, i forgive you. it seems as if killua and gon are happier with you around anyways." i say, with a smile. "your smile.. it's nice. maybe i can forgive you for uvo-kun's death. i don't know if he's happy with that, but i forgive you." y/n says with a smile, leaving the room. i can see why killua likes her.. pfft, to think that the boy has a soft spot for the girl, it's nice to see him happy with someone else other than gon.

third person pov—

y/n went back with killua and gon. they had shown her their new abilities with their nen. "wow! i'm impressed you two! can i try how strong it is? can i, can i?" y/n said with stars in her eyes. killua had laughed at her childish act. gon had immediately said yes to the girl's request. he was quite excited to see his nen being used by someone else.

"i'll start off with yours, gon!" y/n said, activating gon's nen. "woah! it feels like i have a load of power in my own fists!" y/n exclaimed, looking at gon's nen that she was now using. she deactivated it, and looked at killua with a smile. "your nen now!" y/n said activating killua's nen.

"uwahh! i feel like i am really fast, maybe i can put this to use one day!" y/n happily said, hopping around. after a while of playing with the two boy's nen, killua asked y/n a strange question.

"hey, y/n, do you want to join us on our adventure to find gon's dad?"

"pffft, of course i will! you dummies!"

y/n intertwined killua's soft hands with hers, and gave him a small peck on the cheek. killua turned a bright red.

gon giggled at the two.

Maybe, their adventure together, wouldn't be so bad after all. killua and gon had helped y/n express her feelings, killua and y/n still have a feeling called "love" for each other, gon always supporting the two, mentally and physically. what could've been better?

the end, at least for now, of course.
