Once upon a time in a far away kingdom there was a prince and princess and they fell instantly in love...No I'm just kidding, my story takes place in a so called kingdom, my kingdom. It starts where I grew up and lived all of my life, Manhattan, New York. My dad passed away from a mugging gone wrong during the summer before my senior year. My mom refused to believe it so she never really talked to me about this world living just beyond my eyes. A world filled with magic and otherworldly people and creatures. I only found out about a year ago what I was and this amazing world when I fell in love again. I will just come out and tell you what we are, because you would still find out soon enough, but then again I need you to trust me throughout this whole story. First I will tell you our names, mine is Allison and my loves is Mason. Now for the fun part, what we are. I am a witch, and Mason is a Ghoast. I know that you don't know that a Ghoast is, so once again I will tell you. Ghoasts have super speed, strength, the ability to read minds and change memories, and the fourth ability make things out of thin air. He has sandy blonde hair with these amazing bright blue eyes. Also he is really tall; he is six feet four inches tall. Isn't he pretty cool and gorgeous sounding? Okay now back to me. I have platinum blonde hair with what people consider beautiful eyes. They are a light blue with an outer ring of a deep blue at the edges of the irises. I am tall also; I am five feet nine inches tall. Are you picturing us yet? Let me begin one year ago on the first day of my senior year, but first how Mason forever changed my life and made me love again.

Mason
Hello, I'm Mason. Right now I'm going to tell you the story of how I moved to Manhattan. First you know what I am right? What you do? Okay that's great. Let me tell you a little about my people. My father is the leader of the largest group in the world. Sometimes we are pulled to the general area where our equals are. My father told me that if we meet our equals they would be the only people's minds that we can't read or change. That happened to me a year ago. I felt like I needed to move to New York. I just didn't know exactly where. So I packed up immediately and left my home in California and moved to New York. After the super long plane ride I went straight to a separate room and did what we call a trace. I found out exactly where she lives. I had everything set up for me to become a student. With that I left with only one thing on my mind, what will she think of me?

Let's fast forward to the very first day of my senior year. Earlier that day I met up with my best friends Caitlyn, Molly, Cassie, and Lucy. Caitlyn told me that since her mom works on the school board and she found out that there will be a new student coming today. I couldn't believe it no one that ever comes here is in our class. It wasn't until the last period of the day that I finally had him in the same class with me. Only naturally that it would be the year I took my last gym credit. When he walked in I knew that I wouldn't like him. This guy was looking straight at me. He seemed like the overconfident, inflated ego type. He was gorgeous, but he seemed too good looking. I could tell that he's broken many hearts in his past. By the way that he walked he knew that he was good looking and it didn't seem to bother him. Finally Coach Jones broke the stare down by saying, "Dancing today, we are all going to learn to waltz so grab a partner."
I looked around and saw that everyone else had a partner and then I heard someone's voice next to me say, "I guess you're with me. I can tell that you don't like me, but please let me show you that my looks aren't everything."
We started dancing and I had to admit he knew what he was doing. When we were about done he leaned in and whispered to me, "Give me a chance. Just one afternoon and you will get to see the real me. If you still don't like me then I will leave you alone."
I responded with a "No way is that ever going to happen in your lifetime."
He stopped dancing and looked straight into my eyes. I was transfixed so I stared right back into them. He said something but I didn't hear him. I looked away and asked. "I'm sorry what did you say?"
"I said I know that you are going to let you defenses down eventually. I also know that you will let me in. I'm going to be around for quite a while, so when that happens I will be the first to know."
I stood there mouth gaping staring right at him. "How the hell would you ever know that? And how the hell do you know that I haven't let anyone in? And another thing why you when there are other guys at this school that I don't hate. Why do you seem to think that it will be you that I let in?"
He simply looked at me and said, "I know this because I'm different and you know it."
Class ended shortly after that and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I haven't let any guy in since Toby. It just feels wrong and all of the guys are either really sympathetic or just trying to get into my pants. I need a guy that likes me for me and doesn't know the story of Toby. I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't notice that I was almost to my car or that my friends were waiting for me. Lucy asked "How was gym? Was it hot?" I guess they know Mason is in my gym class.
"No it wasn't. That guy is so full of himself and he seems to think that he walks on water and that he will be the guy that I finally let in." With that I told them the whole story.
Cassie looked at me and said. "Well you have to let someone in eventually and he is so hot. Also he is no Toby. I don't think it would be so bad just to give him one afternoon to show you who he really is and if you still don't like him then he said he would leave you alone. Also you have to get over Toby. He has been gone for about a year now and you have to get on with your life. He would want you to live your life and yes I know you love him but come on let him go."
