Part 3- The Truth

Cassie looked and me and asked, "What happened between you two? A month ago you hated him."
"Guys it is really hard to explain without telling you guys too much. My mom is having all of your moms over to tell you something then everything will be very clear for you."
We waited for Mason to change and when he was done we left the school and headed towards my house. We walked in and we went straight to the living room. My friends sat on the couch while Mason and I sat on the love seat. Sammi jumped up on to us and just lied down and watched. Caitlyn, Molly, Cassie, and Lucy were all looking at their moms.
My mom started and said, "Beware what I am about to say will sound a bit weird but it is the truth. The supernatural are real. Allison and I are witches. Mason how about you tell us what you are."
They all looked our way expectantly I took his hand and nodded for him to answer.
"Ladies I am a Ghoast."
Lucy looked confused and asked, "What the hell is a Ghoast?"
Lucy's mom Nora said, "LUCY! Language. I'm sorry Mason for her language. She should be more understanding."
Mason just chuckled and said, "It is all right. Not very many people know of us. We aren't really in any movies or something like that." He looked over to my friends and said, "Ghoasts have the ability to have four different gifts. Not all of us are able to use them all, but some are able too. The abilities are super speed and strength, and the ability of changing memories/reading minds and making things come out of thin air."
Molly asked, "Are you able to use all four?"
"Yes, now I can."
I turned to him and asked, "What do you mean now you can?"
"I mean before I came here I could only do two and now I can use all four. I think it is because of you Allison. You make me more powerful."
I looked to my mom and she just nodded like she knew all along.
Cassie looked at all of us and asked, "Okay, one question why are you all telling us this?"
My mom looked at them and said, "Because all of you except Caitlyn are supernatural." She looked and Caitlyn and said, "Don't worry Caitlyn you fit into this too. Just wait."
Cassie's mom Audrey, looked at her daughter and said, "Cassie we come from a very long line of healers."
Nora said, "Lucy our line is wolves. We are werewolves, but we can change whenever we want."
Molly's mom Hanna announced, "Molly we are also witches just like Allison and her mom."
Sarah, Caitlyn's mom said, "Caitlyn my dear daughter we are not supernatural, but we have a very important task in their community. Ever wonder why you were always so good at archery?" Caitlyn nodded and her mom continued. "Caitlyn we are the protectors. Our real title is The Guardians. We protect those in need. Each family has a weapon type. Ours is Bows and arrows."
Everyone just sat there shocked. Cassie looked at everyone and asked, "Mom just when did you think was the right time to tell us this very big information?"
Audrey said, "We didn't want to tell you until everything affected you which is when you turn 18, but then Mason came to town and affected Allison so her mom called all of us and said that we should tell all of you because she feels like there is danger coming, and it is not just her Hanna also feels the same way."
I looked at Mason and he just sat with his back straight and he was pale, and his hold on me tightened. I guess he didn't know this or else he wouldn't be acting this way. I stood up and looked at my mom and tried to say that Mason needs to be alone with me and there isn't going to be anything to change that and she just nodded like she understood and I pulled him up and went downstairs into my room.
"Mason is everything okay with you?"
"No everything isn't okay. Why didn't you tell me that your mom had a feeling that something was coming? Witches feelings about that kind of stuff are never wrong. Something is coming and I don't think I will be able to keep you and everyone else safe."
I walked right up to him and reached up and cupped his face with my hands. I forced him to look me in the eyes, "Nothing is going to separate us. My mom just said that there was something coming she didn't say when. It could be tomorrow or it could be years from now."
"Okay I know I am overreacting, but I just want you to always be safe. I just want to put you in a bubble so that will never happen to you, but I also know you will do everything you can to save your friends."
"You will never lose me. I am not going anywhere without you by my side. We are together now and nothing and I mean nothing can change that."
Then he kissed me like he needed it to confirm that I was still here with him. I don't know how much time has passed when a tentative knock came at my door. I went to open it and saw that Lucy was at my door.
"Hey Luce what are you doing down here?"
"I decided to come down when you guys didn't come up after a while and before your mom decides to put Mason's insides on the outside because she thinks you guys were having sex, but I think she would do worse if she walked in on you two. Just saying. You should probably come upstairs."
With that she left and Mason just looked at me and asked, "Would she really do that?"
"Probably, but she doesn't know you yet. Once she knows you a bit she will probably loosen up a bit."
"That is going to have to be soon because I plan to stay with you to keep you safe until the threat is gone or when we go to California and stay there. If they want your friends can stay over too. I will protect them with my life too. I should probably call my dad and have him send some people over for more protection just in case. Is that okay with you?"
"That's fine with me, but you will have to try to talk to my girls' moms and that will be the hard part."
"I'm pretty good at having things go my way so don't worry. Also would you like to ask your friends if they would like to stay?"
"Yeah I should probably be the one to do that."
With that he took my hand and we went back upstairs. Cassie gave me a look that said we want details later. I nodded and we sat back down on the love seat and I positioned myself so as I leaned back I was leaning on Mason and he put his arm around my shoulders and hugged me closer. We talked more about heritage and exactly what it meant to be supernatural. Everyone seemed to have finished and Mason asked to speak to all of the moms is private. I told him good luck and he was off.

Mason
When I followed Brittney, Audrey, Nora, Hanna, and Sarah into the dining room I was somewhat nervous. This was the first time I would tell my mate's mother that I would be staying with them.
"First off Brittney," I looked straight at her, "I am going to be staying with you and Allison. There will be not changing that. I just thought you would like to hear my intentions. I plan on not taking this arrangement for granted, but I will be staying in her room so she won't leave my sight. At school she will have her friends and I also. After school I will have her friends stay for her practice so she won't be alone." I looked at the rest of them now to show that I am addressing them all. "I would like to ask if each of you if you would consider letting your daughters stay here. I will protect them with my life. Also I have called my dad and he is sending some reinforcements so I will have some backup just in case."
Nora was the first to answer, "You know that we can protect our own daughters' right?"
"Yes I do know that, but I think Allison will be more at ease if they were to be here with her. Also so she can see that they are going to be safe for herself."
They all reluctantly agreed to the fact that they will be safe and got up to leave. Only Brittney Allison's mom stayed.
"If you even touch her the wrong way I will turn you inside out and it won't be pretty."
"I promise I won't take advantage of your daughter, Brittney. Also I was thinking can you make a protection spell so nothing can enter the house at night?"
"Of course I can. Please keep my daughter safe."
"Always."
With that she left the room and I got up to find Allison and her friends.

Allison
When Mason got up and left with the moms my friends dragged me into my room.
Lucy looked at me and said, "Out with it. We want all of the dirty details."
"There are no dirty details to tell you. We only talked about the threat coming and we only kissed. We didn't have sex if that's what you guys want to know."
Cassie asked, "So is he a good kisser then?"
"Yes a very good one."
Now Molly asked, "So does that mean you are fully over Toby?"
"Yes I'm pretty sure I am totally over him. He would want me to be happy."
"Damn right he would Ali. You deserve it." Said Lucy.
Just then Mason came striding in. He sat down next to me and asked, "So did you ask them yet."
"Shit no I haven't. Ladies how would you like to stay over for a while?"
Lucy asked, "Hells yeah, but what do you mean for a while?"
"Just until the threat is over or until school is over and we all go to California and seek protection there. Mason says that some of the largest packs of supernatural's' live out there so we will be with our people if you want."
Mason looked at all of us and said, "Just in case something gets into the house," He made five knives and handed them out and he made a bow and arrows for Caitlyn. "The knife blades and the arrow tips can kill anything. Keep them near you at all times, and we will use the buddy system. Wherever one of you go the other follows no matter where. As for the sleeping arrangements you will sleep in the same room as your buddy, and everyone please be careful. One last thing your respective parents are going to bring over bags of clothes for each of you."
