Chapter 16
Tris' POV
Nothing.
That's all I ate, all I heard, all I thought, all I said, and all I felt. I was locked in that cell for about a week. I had no energy, so I simply sat.
"Kill me. Please, please kill me." Was the first six words I spoke in what was felt to be an eternity.
Hearing the lock on the cell door jiggle, I looked up to see it already open. James was leaning against the doorframe, a cocky grin stretched across his face.
"You may now-" boomshakalaka
The wall behind him exploded, burying James underneath the rubble. I turned my head back to where the wall has collapsed. The was a huge-ass hole in the wall, and standing right in the middle of it was a huge black wolf.
Luke's POV | (A/N before the wall exploded and that shit happened)
Calum scrambled over to calm me down. "It's okay Luke. It's fine. It's just one of the weaker clans. They were stupid to mess with us. Just calm down. We'll get her back."
I felt my muscles loosen and my eyes return to normal.
"Then let's go now!" I ordered.
"But alpha, this is such short notice. I don't know if we have enough pack members at the moment. Most of them are still in New York."
"NOW!"
That got Calum moving. He and Michael ran to get Ashton. I realized that it would only be us against probably about 15 vampires, but I knew we could easily take them.
Once the four of us were prepared, we shifted into our wolves and ran down to the hospital. Nowadays, our city is barley populated. Other than the students who attend our school and their families, there weren't many other people living here.
When we were about a mile or so away, I began to smell her scent. That sweet smell of vanilla. It intoxicated me. I needed to get Tris back.
We were now standing outside of the building. We did not smell any vampires, but that sure as hell didn't mean there weren't any. I sent Michael, Calum, and Ashton to go and break into the other four sides of the building while I went right through the front.
I charged into the wall and it immediately collapsed. I stepped in, and the moment I got through I saw Tris staring. Right back at me.
I finally have what's mine.
