A/N THANK YOU ALL SO FUCKING MUCH FOR 1.18K READS. I LOOKED OVER AT MY BOOK IN CREATE AND SAW THE NUMBER AND NEARLY FRICKING SHIT MYSELF. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR THE SUPPORT I LOVE YOU ALL. I just wanna make it clear though that I'm not writing Animalistic for the number of reads. I'm writing it because I enjoy writing about this fantasy that includes the Lord of the Penguins, Luke Hemmings. So please just don't go thinking I'm just a whole ass bitch. Please.

Chapter 14

Tris' POV

I woke up to a small, confined room. With grey walls and the ceiling only a foot or so higher than me, this place wasn't anything special. Standing up, I took a better look at the room.

The walls had long scratches in them, as if someone was trying to claw their way out. I was about to inspect them, but felt a slight draft and tried to make my way towards it.

I followed the draft which only cost a few steps, and found myself looking up at the top-right corner of the room. Taking a closer inspection, I found a slight crack with some water dripping down through it.

Looking closer, I noticed a small bottle about the size of my middle finger. I took it out and saw a small note inside, taking that out aswell.

Unravelling the stiff paper, the bold letters seemed to show more prominently than I would have thought. The note read, 'Crack the bottle and scratch.'

I unsurely dropped the bottle on the ground. It cracked in half, making each shard almost like a small dagger.

After a moment of confusion, I decided to try and continue to damage the already scratched walls. I made my way over to the deeper scratches, and tried my share at escaping.

Surprisingly, the walls crumbled easily under the small blade. I wondered why no one had managed to leave this plain prison.

Suddenly, footsteps were heard and I quickly tiptoed to the middle of the room, sat down crossing my legs, and hung my head low.

"I see you have awoken."

I soon recognized the voice as the one I heard before I had passed out. I considered throwing in a comment, but decided against it, seeing as I will most likely suffer because of it.

"Stand." The man commanded.

Slowly, I stood up and turned to look at the voice, facing him. I quickly lowering my gaze to show no disrespect, even though all I wanted most was to slap the bastard.

I felt a slight pain in my forearm, and soon realized that my unnamed kidnapper had grabbed me, and that we were no longer in my small cell. He pulled me along a long corridor.

A few minutes later, we had arrived at what seemed to be the man's office. Bookshelves lined along the walls, and a fairly large desk sat in middle of the room, with two chairs in front of it.

He roughly pushed me to sit in a chair and locked the office door before sitting on his desk. I finally looked up at his face, my curiosity overcoming me. He had handsome features. This man looked to be about 6', with windswept black hair and sea green eyes.

"Call me James. It is not my real name, but I do not intend on giving you that piece of information. I will allow you 5 minutes to ask me any questions, but I will not answer all. You may begin."

I blinked at James for a moment, wondering what questions to ask him.

"Where am I?"

"Pass."

"Why am I here?"

"Because I kidnapped you."

"Why did you kidnap me?"

"To get back at him. I want to take everything important to him. Just like he did to me. I want him to live in devastation, despair."

As James spoke, he seemed to fall deeper into a trance. He didn't really seem to be paying much attention to what he was telling me, more just letting it flow out.

"Who is 'he'"?

"Your Alpha."

I stared at him in confusion, before realizing he probably meant Luke.

"Oh." I muttered before starting again,"What do you plan to do with me?"

James shrugged, "Why don't you wait and see?"

A devilish grin spread across his face.

I grew uncomfortable and squirmed in my seat. My hands began to feel cold, so I rubbed them together, but felt a sticky substance. I looked down and saw my hands were covered in blood.

My confusion soon faded as I realized I had previously been toying around with glass.

I looked up and saw that James had been following my gaze. He stared at my blood covered hands almost as if he were in a trance. Suddenly, James' eyes turned red, and his canines enlongened.

And at that moment I knew that all of those creatures that I had been told stories about, probably almost every one of them was real. And I knew that I was locked in a room with a ready to feed vampire.
