A/N Okay, now before you read this chapter (I don't think anyone will), I'm sorry that I rushed Chapter 7, but I didn't know how else to lay things out. I completely regret it seeing as it probably ruined the ff for everyone including me so yeah. *shrugs* Sorry. Oh, and Apple doesn't want me to be happy with different font so I guess I can't do that. Sucks.

Chapter 8

Tris's POV

I skipped down the last few steps, ran to the living room and turned on the TV in hopes of having a free day off from school. There never is, but why not hope? To my suprise, our school appeared on the television, and our principal was talking to a reporter. "-he was carrying a gun, and had it aimed at one of our students."

"Care to specify who 'he' is?"

"Him, Mr. Malfoy." {Any Harry Potter fans out there?}

I stopped listening as Mr. Sheeran went into detail on Mr. Malfoy's appearance. "So, for the next two weeks, Sinclair Heights High School {made up name} will be under police investigation. There will be no lessons for the next two weeks. I'm Cha-" I turned the TV off and headed to the kitchen.

"TRIIIIIISSS WE'RE GONNA BE LATE, GET YO FAT ASS OUTTA THE HOUSE!!!" Kenzie screeched down the stairs as I put my dish in the dishwasher. "KENZIIIIEEEEE THERES NO SCHOOL FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEEEEKS!!!" I mocked her tone in a joking manner. She stared at me confused for a second, "Mr. Malfoy almost shot a student." She blinked.

"Oh. Kay then shopping?"

I love how she can just take in some seriously mental statement and just act so casual about it. Like, BEEEEST FRIEND!

"Yep. Wait we're going in these outfits?"

Kenzie looked at our attire, then shrugged. Grinning, I grabbed my phone and wallet and skipped to the car.

"Kenzie." I said dropping to a lower stance. "I have no signal." We were currently on the top floor of the Eaton Centre {in case you don't live in Canada or just don't know about it, it's a huge mall in downtown Toronto.} Surprisingly, there were barely any people there. "Mission 'Get Tris A Signal' is now in progress." Kenzie spoke as if we were spies on a mission.

"WE'RE FRICKEN NINJA!" I yelled, but barely any heads turned our way. Kenzie crouched as I sat on her shoulders. She grabbed my shins and slowly stood up.

"Okay, now- HOLD UP! I'm getting a bar."

"Where do I go?"

"Wait, okay now go left. Now more to the right- FORWARD STRAIGHT AHEAD. Hold up, Selfie! Okay now we're good. A few steps to the left, forward, forward, STOP. Okay now wa-"

"What are you guys doing?" Kenzie turned with me still on her shoulders. "Getting Tris' phone a sig-" "WAIT!" I screeched. "I've got it. YAS THANK THE BACON LORD!!!" I looked down and saw that Luke was here chuckling with his friend, Calum, I think? I noticed him looking at her and typed something in my phone.

'Looks like Calum's got the hots for yooouuuu' I lowered the phone to Kenzie's face so that she could read it. I watched her eyes scan the sentence, and a blush creeped onto her cheeks. "Wait what did you need the signal for? Your not on Twitter are you?" She finally questioned.

"Since when am I not on Twitter? Okay you can put me down now."

Kenzie led us over to the railing, resulting in me grabbing the pole, and her walking away like nothing happened. I jumped down and quickly walked back over to them. "So what are you guys going here?" Kenzie questioned. The boys just shrugged in reply.

Suddenly, Kenzie grabbed my arm. "Tris. Look over there. Do you see them? The twins. There." She pointed towards male twins who looked very... Attractive. They appeared to be on the level underneath us.

"I SPY ON YOOUUUU!!!" I screamed and ran down the flights of stairs nearly falling on my face multiple times and hid behind a large column. {Heheh} My three friends who were still at the top floor stared at me with wide eyes. They looked SO funny I couldn't help but laugh.

Eventually, I ended up sprawled on the ground with Kenzie beside me choking on laughter, replaying different memories. We drew many weird glances. I'm surprised we didn't catch the attention of security, or get any complaints. I didn't think the world could handle this much of us.

Kenzie noticed that the dudes that we were 'spying' on had come over to us trying to make sure that we were fine. I was too caught up in my own world to really pay attention. "Are you ladies okay?" The one in the blue v-neck asked us.

I finally came back to reality and stood, pulling Kenzie up with me. "We've got our eyes on you." I said in a low voice, grabbing Kenzie's hand walking forward, yet I was facing them. I was not watching where I was going and just so happened to walk into a column.

We made our way back up to the top floor. Luke and Calum where still staring at us with wide eyes. Had they not blinked? We stared back for a moment. "Well, it was nice seeing ya!" I yelled at them sarcastically as I turned around dragging Kenzie and we made our way to the car.
