[Baie]

"I was thinking, Haven!" squealed Pansy, pointing at Haven as the four of us started down the crowded hall towards Herbology. 

I grinned at the blush that came over Haven's face.

Although, I did feel a sudden gut wrenching pinch of jealousy. 

"Why Haven?" inquired Star, leaning into the conversation, physically. She almost, gently, pushed me out of the line of conversation.

Literally...

"Well, she's manipulative, whiney, hot..." Pansy began to explaining, counting out on her hands.

I grinned over at Haven, amused by the truth Pansy was broadcasting, and I couldn't help but laugh out loud when I saw Haven's eyes widen.

"...self centered, jealous and lastly," smiled Pansy, shoving Haven playfully. "the most important part, is that she's pureblood!"

I shifted my bag strap as I glanced between Pansy and Haven.

"True." giggled Haven, flipping her hair a little.

Star rolled her eyes and slide out from in between those two and placed herself beside me, behind the Slytherin twins. She gently nudged me with a smile.

"So, what happened back there?" She gestured behind us.

"Malfoy running his mouth again." I rolled my eyes and sighed. "I can't wait until this is over, he'll finally get some sort of backlash for all he does."

"What did he say to you?" Star pushed, pulling out some sunflower seeds and handed me a tiny handful.

"He was impressed by whatever I did over the summer holiday," I began, sliding a few into my mouth to suck the salt off. "and that apparently, whatever I did, has made me look pretty good because he was giving me this attention."

"Gross..." Star made a face like she smelt something awful. "...so being a pig, as always?"

"Of course." I answered, as-a-matter-of-factly. 

"Well, the way you handled it was outside the Baie norm." shrugged Star, looking from me to Pansy and Haven, who were still chatting away in front of us. 

"Outside my norm?" I questions, spitting out some seeds only to replace them.

"First of all, either eat them or don't -" Star spat as she slapped my shoulder playfully, which only made me smile in amusement. "- don't just suck the salt off of them and then spit them out, it defeats the purpose of the sunflower seed."

I just smiled and waited on her to get back ot her point.

"Second of all, you don't touch, you don't kiss, you don't flirt, you're not really seductive..." Star explained, then caught my expression. "...no offense."

"None taken." I smirked sarcastically. 

"It was just..." Star pondered, searching for the appropriate world. "...different, to see you like that."

I shrugged, and looked down at the back of Haven's shoes as we at the doorway to Herbology. 

"So maybe," she struggled to swallow some seeds and spit out the shells as quickly as she could before we could enter the classroom, as did I. "what Haven taught you, and how we basically remade you, is a good different."

I gave her a small smile.  

"So," sighed Star, as the four of us dropped into some seats at a four-person table. "Haven is the perfect candidate for this mission?"
