Part 3 The flight

(YN) POV

I noticed as Ash closed her eyes that she had stopped breathing I quickly reached down and checked her pulse to find that she did not have one I immediately curse Under my breath. Jordan heard this and asked what was going on.

(YN) "She's crashing she's lost too much blood her heart has stopped"

I immediately start doing CPR Telling Monica who is bawling her eyes out at this point "Monica I need you to grab me the bag mask out of my bag and I need you to give her rescue breaths while I do the compressions" she nodded and grabbed the mask and for the next twenty minutes I was working to keep her alive. my shirt was drenched in sweat and I was breathing hard.

Elias came up to me and asked "would you like for me to take over you look exhausted"

(YN) no I'm good

Elias nodded his head and walked away he looked at (YN) eyes and saw a look of determination the look of someone who will do anything to save his comrades

Jager "touching down now"

As I look out the helicopter I can see several doctors and medics running up to us as I prep her to be moved the doctors Rush in and move her to a Larger stretcher I hop on with her and continue to give her chest compressions while telling the doctors her current condition as they rushed her back to the operating room they Are shouting and yelling for people to get people out of their way, when we reach the operating room they asked me to leave. As I step outside I can see the worried faces of the team. I looked down to see that my hands and parts of my shirt are covered in blood As I walk away I feel a Hand on my shoulder I look over and it's Blackbeard he gives me a nod which I return.

I walk to the nearest sink to wash my hands and shirt as I'm washing I start thinking did I do good enough, did I give her the best care that I could have, could I have done something better. just then I hear someone walk up behind me I turn around and Monica standing there She still has a worried look on her face she walks closer and wipe some blood off my cheek she gives me a hug.

(YN) "what was that for"

Monica "It was my way of saying thank you for doing what you did she would've been dead if not for you"

(YN) "She still not out of the woods yet. I just wish there was more I could've done for her".

Monica "you did all you could"

(YN) "Sometimes that's just not enough"

And I walked off without giving her a chance to respond I went and sat down next to the rest of the team waiting, hoping, praying that she would make it out alive.

Time skip 12 hours later

(YN) POV

We've been waiting for 12 hours still no word yet Jordan looks like he's about to lose his mind I think he cares An awful lot about her. Craig and I have been talking we seem to have struck a good friendship every now and then Monica would chime in a Friendship starting there as well.

As I was telling Craig about one of our last missions we went on the door opened up and the doctor started walking our way we all jumped up waiting to hear what he had to say.

Doctor "We managed to stabilize her condition she's resting right now she was very lucky another 20 minutes and she definitely would've bleed out" He looked over towards me and put his hand on my shoulder " but we should all be thanking you son if it weren't for you she would not have made it half the time that she did you save her life" I gave a slight nod and said "I was just doing my job sir"

Jordan " are we allowed to see her"

Doctor "Yes but while you're in there be sure to be quiet she needs her rest"

Jordan "thanks doc"

?? "Yes thank you"

I turn around To see a dark skin man standing there with a member of the GIGN Who looks like a doctor as well The dark skinned man Extends his hand in which you shake.

?? "Hi my name is Harry I am the leader of team rainbow.

(YN) Rainbow as in the elite counterterrorism unit containing nearly all tear one elite operatives that rainbow?

Harry had a small grin on his face

Harry "Yes that rainbow . I actually wanted to ask you a question"

(YN) "Of course sir"

Harry " how would you like to join rainbow"

(YN) Had a look of pure shock on his face how in the hell could a team that contains the worlds most elite operatives want him

(YN) "Sir I am honored to but how in the hell would it team like rainbow want someone like me I figured you would go after the Delta or even DEVGRU guys"?

Harry let out a small chuckle and Said "This mission was your test I had body cams on all of my operatives each one shows the same footage that you are a brave, courageous, Skilled operator not to mention you saved one of my best operatives lives your skill as a medic is enough to get you on. Also you manage to eliminate six hostiles More than any other operative on that mission. So are you in."

Harry sticks out his hand you look at the Man and wonder is this really what you wanted to do do you think about it long and hard before you decided to shake His hand.

(YN) "Of course I'll join all I've ever wanted to do was help people. Being in this organization will allow me save countless lives. But I do have one question what about my current boss"

Harry can tell just how honest (YN) Is. Harry's respect for the man grew that much more along with all the other current operators there

Harry "That is all taken care of I talked to your boss a few days ago he reluctantly let you go if you wanted to".

(YN) "Well I guess we're all set when we leave"

you hear the man that came with Harry with a French accent say "I will have to stay here with Eliza until she can be moved" He turned and looked at me and extended his hand and said his name was Gustav.

(YN) Pleasure to meet you Gustav

Gustav "And you as well you are one hell of a medic I look forward to working with you"

(YN) "Before we leave I need to go pack some stuff if that's all right with you sir"

Harry "well yes of course our plane leaves in one hour"

Time skip 45 minutes

When the plane finally took off I sat there and wondered what kind of adventure would I get into next that was my last thought before I drifted off to sleep.
