The Guardian (a Valkyrie x male reader)

Part 8 The Simulation

(YN) POV
Location Hereford U.K

I walk over to a table that has the blueprints of a house. My mission is to rescue a hostage. I am going up against five hostiles I am going to have to be very careful. I grab two flash bangs and two frag grenades. They gave me a drone to recon the area. Using the drone I discover the identity of the defenders they are Mozzie, Clash, Valkyrie, Caveira, and Tachanka.

I can see that they're setting up their defenses Tachanka has his LMG in the master bedroom protecting the hostage along with Valkyrie. Mozzie ran to kids bedroom and broke out a chunk of the window. I could not see where the others went to.

I start at construction site I start to approach the house watching every window and as I suspected a window was broken open I quickly raised my rifle and fire three rounds at the window.

(Valkyrie's POV)

We quickly set up our defenses I threw all my cameras to cover any angles that weren't already covered. While I was waiting I saw (YN) Coming in from construction site I quickly report it to my team and I hear Mozzie Yell back and start running to construction site. I quickly get up and follow him and as I'm rounding the corner into the room he bust open the window and was quickly taken out by a head shot.

Mozzie "Fuck me the bloody wanker shot me right between the eyes. Fuck that hurts oh wait I'm supposed to be dead".

I quickly roll my eyes as he drops to the floor I run back to protect the hostage.

(3rd person POV)

(YN) Quickly makes his way inside the house Breaching through garage as he's walking in he's checking every corner. He comes upon a set of stairs and starts making his way up. He Hears footsteps approaching behind him he descended the stairs to set up an ambush As the footsteps draw closer he springs out of his hiding spot and starts firing but the bullets had no effect they're just hitting a shield Clash started to Taze (YN) But he quickly charged her and kick her shield as hard as he could which sent her on the ground and he quickly fired three rounds into her chest.

(YN) Decided to take a different approach and found another stairwell that led up Into the kitchen. Just as he reached the top Caveira tackled him They both rolled down the stairs once they reach the bottom Caveira took out her knife and tried to stab (YN) but he blocked every attack which amazed cav. He managed to parry an attack and pushed her back and pulled out his sidearm and shot her in the head.

(YN) Then quickly Grab his rifle from the ground and made his way up the stairs into the kitchen then walked up a flight of stairs to get to the second level. As he was about to break the door down he was met by a hellstorm of bullets coming through the wall. He dived for cover narrowly managing to not get hit. He took one of his grenades and cooked it for three seconds and tossed it in.

(YN) POV

All I heard when I threw the grenade was a very distinct Russian accent saying "mothe fu" followed by an explosion. As I breached the room I saw the hostage by the bed I went to check the closet because I knew Meghan was still in. As I get near the closet Meghan burst out and tried to shoot me but I kicked her gun away and she tackled me. We both went to the floor she landed on top of me she started to rain punches to my face I knee her in the back which causes her to fall off as I am getting up she places me in a chokehold and she tells me to "give up" to which I reply with "never" she tightened her hold to where I couldn't breathe. I had to get out of this I then realize that I am wearing a helmet and she isn't I quickly lean forward and rear my head back which makes contact with her forehead this catches her off guard Which gives me the opportunity to escape and grab my rifle I pointed at her chest and fired two shots.

Harry "Attacker wins Congratulations (YN)"

I extend my arm to pull Meghan up.

Meghan "That was a dirty trick headbutting me that friggen hurt too."

(YN) "That's why you wear helmets in the field" I said in a sarcastic tone and with a big smile on my face

Cav "good fight (YN) I didn't think anyone could stand up against me hand to hand with a knife."

(YN) "you too"

Meghan "so (YN) what are you doing after this?"

(YN) "I'm going to head to the gym I've been wanting to try out that salmon ladder for a while now."

Meghan "cool I think I'll head there too"

(YN) "See you there."

As she walks away I walk over to Thatcher.

Mike "Bloody well done lad you passed all the test that we have for you so welcome to team rainbow."

(YN) "thank you sir it's an honor to be here. Well I think I'm gonna go get changed and head to the gym so I'll see you later Mike."

I change all my gear and placed it all in my locker. Now I'm headed to the gym
