Part 11

Time Skip 2 weeks

(YN) POV

I've been with team rainbow for a little over 2 weeks now. I've met pretty much all the operators by now. I've made friends with most of them. I can say that they have a pretty diverse group of people here. I've been on two other missions luckily nothing major happened on them.

Eliza has been getting much better now she's finally able to walk without help. But she's still confined to the hospital on Gustav's orders. I've been helping her along with Jordan and Monica. As I walk through the hospital ward and into eliza's room. As I enter I see her and Jordan in there.

(YN) "morning y'all"

Both "morning"

(YN) "so red how ya feeling"

Eliza "I hate that name and better hopefully I can get out of this place soon I hate being cooped up here."

(YN) "it shouldn't be too much Longer before you can leave."

Just then I hear Harry's voice on the intercom.

Harry "can I please have operators Thermite, Doc, IQ, Blitz, and Fuze report for mission."

Jordan "welp that's me I better get going."

(YN) "good luck buddy stay safe."

Eliza "yeah you better come back."

They shared a brief hug before he left.

(YN) "for god's sake would you tell him how you feel."

Her cheeks went bright red

Eliza "I don't know what are you talking about."

(YN) "oh come on I've seen the way you two look at each other even more so how he looks at you. On the ride to the hospital you should've seen his face he was terrified."

Eliza "fine I'll admit that I like him... just as soon as you tell Meghan you like her."

(YN) "am I That obvious."

Eliza "more than you think. But I can tell that she likes you back."

(YN) "really she does."

Eliza "How are you that oblivious she practically spends all her free time with you and no one else. Also she mite have told me.

(YN) "when?"

Eliza "when I got back to Hereford after y'all's mission."

Just then the door opened and Gustav came in.

Gustav "good morning mes amis"

(YN) "morning doc I thought you had a mission.

Gustav "I do but I wanted to ask you something."

(YN) "sure what's up?"

Gustav "would you be willing to look after Eliza until I get back. I am allowing her to leave the hospital I just wanted someone to keep an eye on her that has medical training if anything goes wrong?"

(YN) "yeah I don't mind."

Gustav "merci"

I look over and see Eliza is already getting out of her bed.

(YN) "damn you that ready to leave?"

Eliza "you have no idea how much I hate being cooped up."

She starts walking to the door.

(YN) "woah woah woah where are you going?"

Eliza "mess hall I want some real food that nutritious crap doc gives out taste like crap."

(YN) "ok let me go grab a wheelchair for you."

Eliza "uh hell no i am not getting pushed around."

At this point she's walking away.

(YN) "ok what about crutches?"

Eliza "no"

(YN) damn it woman you're hard headed. Doc said to take it easy it's a long way to the mess hall."

Just as she said that Meghan walks up.

(YN) "ah Meghan please tell Eliza that she need to take it easy."

Meghan "what's going on shouldn't you be in bed?"

Eliza "doc gave me the all clear to leave the hospital I just want some food but MR overprotective won't let me."

(YN) "I never said you couldn't I just want you to take it easy use a wheelchair or crutches but nooo! someone has to be hard headed."

Meghan "in my past experiences as her friend it's better to let her have her way."

(YN) "oh for the love of god fine but if anything feels weird at anytime you had better tell me understand."

Eliza "oh calm down everything will be fine if not at least I have my own personal nurse near by."

This got a snicker from both the girls.

As we were walking to the mess hall the girls were chatting about various things.

As we arrived at the mess hall Eliza sits down and Meghan and I go to grab our food.

Meghan "so you two are getting close you gonna ask her out?.

I quickly turn to her and say

(YN) "what no her and Jordan are a better match plus I have my eyes on someone else."

Meghan "oh really who?"

(YN) "wouldn't you like to know."

Meghan "I would, it's Monica isn't it?"

(YN) "no"

Meghan "who is it then?"

I decided that it's now or never

(YN) "fine I'll tell you it's"

Before I told her I heard a loud crash I look over and Eliza was on the floor. I run over to her and check to see if she's hurt.

(YN) "holy hell are you alright. What were you doing."

Eliza "I was going to get my food you two we're taking too long and my foot got caught on the chair."

(YN) "are you ok are your stitches good?"

Eliza "yes everything is fine."

(YN) "fine stay here I'll be back."

I go and grab our food and we all sit down

Meghan "so you were saying"

(YN) "I'll tell you later"

Eliza "tell her what"

??? "Hey (YN) I heard you are filling in for doc today?"

I turn around to see Kapkan with blood gushing out of his hand.

(YN) "holy shit what did you do?"

Kapkan "I may or may not have misjudged the amount of explosives I needed for my trap.

(YN) "ok lets get you to the hospital."

Time skip 2

After I got Kapkan's hand fixed up I went to check on eliza to find that she went to her room and fell asleep. So I decided to go. back to my room. As I entered I noticed a large package addressed to me from home. I on end it up to find my xbox 1 along with some different clothes and my grandfathers flag. I get everything put away and I put the flag up on a shelf along with several pictures and posters on the wall.

After all that it was around 7:30 I grabbed supper and headed back to watch some tv. A few hours later I fell asleep.
