"Really, Suhan, I'm thankful that you invited me to the mall," Eunha smiled a bit. They were walking together to the mall that day, knowing they didn't have any plans, so as long as they went home before 7PM, they would be fine. They were specifically going to the trading card store for the sale of posters.
Then, a student around their age approached Eunha. "Hello, are you Eunha Lee from class 4-3 in Starlight Elementary School?"
"That's... oddly specific, but yes," she said, while backing away a bit to be cautious. "You must be one of those people." Then, she turned over to Suhan. "I think he wants to want to talk to me in private, so you can wait over there for a sec."
"Alrighty!" Suhan nodded. "But stay safe, you'll never know what it is." He left the two alone and went to a store since he saw a notebook that looked nice to him.
Eunha watched him as he went off, and then looked back at the person that was talking to her. "Anyway, what is it that you need?"
"Have you come across a man named Herring?" he asked, with a hint of concern.
Although she was surprised about where the situation was going so far, she answered calmly. "Yes. Is there something wrong?"
"He's..." he hesitated a little bit, but said it anyway. "He's pretty dangerous. I'm thinking he probably met with your friends to harm them. However, his plans halted when you came into the picture because he was unsure of if you would awaken once he attacked."
"And how do you know this?" she asked. "How do I know that you aren't lying to me?"
"This man is under surveillance," he answered. "Especially during nighttime. That building they went into belonged to him, but we obviously can't go in there because we weren't invited.
"Okay..." Eunha said. "Well, what about me being a candidate for the throne?"
"Never," he answered quickly. "You'd most likely be dead before the king's reign ends, and it would be too risky anyway. You have immense strength, but the fact that you are human stays."
"Of course, I should have known..." she turned away. "Do you have anything else to say? My friend over there is coming this way. Also, who are you anyway?"
"It's not your fault that you truly believed in your power," he smiled a bit sarcastically. "Oh, and... why don't you just call me... Dongchan?"
Eunha laughed. "You have the same name as the businessman uncle that Grandma talks about a lot. Something about buying convenience store food all the time."
"The same name as an uncle, huh," Dongchan got a bit annoyed. "Well, Miss Named After The Galaxy, your name is pretty weird too."
"It is not weird!" Eunha retorted. "I am very proud of my name! Also, I never said your name was weird! Isn't it basic? I just pointed out that an uncle I know has that name!"
"You mean you don't know any other people named Dongchan?" he laughed. "You must not have any friends!"
"Stop assuming stuff about my life!" she argued. "You're such a jerk!" Suhan heard the commotion and started dragging Eunha away from him, trying to prevent an entire fight from breaking out. She tried to escape from Suhan's grasp, yelling at Dongchan in the distance, "You're so mean! I hate you! Let go of me!"
Sighing, Suhan dragged the girl until they got to the poster sale sign outside of the trading card game store. "Look, I know it's kind of infuriating, but you have to keep it in control."
"Wow, you're becoming Seungjin now," Eunha pouted. "Let's just get the posters and go home."
When she went back home, she wrote truthfully in her diary. Lately, there was a lot of stuff she needed to do, but she always wanted to write something in her diary everyday. But lately, she hasn't been very true to how she felt. So, she tried it for a change.
Entry start.
I only hung out with Suhan today. I think I'm getting too attached to him, and it's really scary because I don't know if he will handle the truth. We even went to the mall together, just the two of us, and my heart felt warmer than usual. That was interrupted by this weird guy at the mall.
He seemed around my age and his name was Dongchan! He's such a jerk, and he made fun of me because I'm named after the Milky Way! That name is very special to Mommy, and she really likes it so much because it 'reminds her of her youth' or something like that, and if it makes Mommy happy, it's great!
But, Suhan had to stop me from actually fighting him. Oh, and at school, Dori Jang said that I'm dangerous to society. Yeah, that's true, but Suhan tried making them stop talking about it. Wait, why am I talking about Suhan so much?
Anyway, turns out, I'm not gonna be a vampire queen, which is a HUGE relief. But my power is really strong... and I'm just scared about it. But I should be fine for the time being!
Entry end.
The next day at school, a new legend was being shared within the classrooms at the floor of the fourth graders. Eunha sighed. "I wonder what it is now..."
Suhan immediately called over Eunha. "Eunha, check this out!" He pointed at his phone, where a mysterious picture of shadow was on the screen. "They say that it's a real mystery as to who it is, but they suspect that it's a vampire! You gotta be safe these days, okay?"
"Right, right," she laughed it off. "I believe in ghosts but not vampires." Oh, now she's lying to her friend. She doesn't lie often, but it seemed like she was successful in tricking him because he laughed too.
"Cool, but still!" he said. And then the teacher came in to start the class.
"Alright, class, settle down," the teacher set his books on the desk and waited for the class to settle. "I'm saying this very suddenly, but..."
