A/N: I wrote more than 2000 words in this chapter, which kind of makes me proud of myself! Even my one-shots aren't that long! Anyway, please enjoy this chapter!

It was a Monday morning, and Eunha dreaded to go to school. It wasn't because of any subjects, it was because she would have to hear so much whispers and people attempting to whisper about her. Eunha did not like being the center of attention, especially when it was about the current rumors spreading about her being a vampire. Just because she was faster or stronger than the rest of the kids in her grade. And an aura? Just that? That was enough for rumors to start spreading?

"It's that girl... I heard so much about her..."
"Did you hear that rumor?"
"No way, what if she comes for me?"
"She's so creepy!"

Eunha didn't do much to stop it, because she believed that people are free to think whatever they want, whether or not they were bad. After all, who was she to try and force them to change their beliefs?

She sat in her seat and waited for class to start, by watching the clouds move. What punched her back into reality was the squealing of the girls in her class. Eunha looked at the front of the class and saw that there was a new student. The homeroom teacher got the attention of the class. "Alright, everyone! There's a new student in our class!"

"Hi, everyone!" he introduced himself. "I'm Suhan Na, it's really nice to meet you all."

"Okay..." the teacher looked around the class. "Alright, the seat next to Eunha Lee is empty. Go sit there, alright?"

There was a lot of whispering, which was understandable because of the current situation. People were pitying Suhan, but he, himself, didn't feel threatened by her. "Hiya there. You must be Eunha, right? Nice to meet you."

"Correct," she replied. She was going to say more, but she just told herself that he's like all her other friends, who were going to leave her eventually.

Suhan saw that she looked a little uneasy talking to him, so he left her alone as the teacher was starting his lesson on English. "Enough talking, class. We will begin our lesson reviewing long vowels."

"Okay," she said. Now that she has a seatmate, and they need to share a textbook for a little bit since he just moved to the school, there was no choice for Eunha but for communication to be there. But, despite the rumors, he doesn't seem scared of her at all. No ounce of uneasiness.

"Thanks for sharing your textbook with me," Suhan said. "You're nice."

It seemed weird to her, but it somehow made her mood better to see that someone wasn't really scared of the possibilities. She decided not to question it for now. Even with all the people in the classroom whispering, Eunha felt happy. She knew very well that it won't last long, but it was the first time that someone was willing to stick around despite hearing all the rumors. Surely, he has already heard of them.

Maybe it would be bad to ruin her moment of happiness, so she didn't want to ruin their "friendship" this early. It seemed quite cruel if he indeed was blind to all the rumors, but Eunha oddly felt a bit more selfish than usual and didn't want to let another friend go.

At lunch, Eunha's friends went over to her desk. They were discussing yet another urban legend. "Eunha, can you check the third floor girls' bathroom tonight after academy? You have weird powers, right? And those high school friends you were talking about!"

"Of course not," Eunha laughed. "Not that I know of, anyway. But, I'll probably check it with my brother and his friends."

"Won't it be more..." a friend suggested. "Thrilling if you went alone, though?"
